Do not be put off by the appearance from the street - the property is comfortable, spacious, peaceful and homely, with wonderful garden, terrace, and seating/relaxing areas. "The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."
