1825 Cottage - One of Three rentals in Fly Creek 5 minutes to Cooperstown
1825 Cottage - The original frame of this recently renovated home was post and beam construction, but the whole interior is new. The original beams are exposed, and old building materials have been re-purposed - giving this an upscale mix of vintage architecture and contemporary style.
1825 Cottage has an open floor plan on the first floor. A delightful covered patio provides a private area for outside dining and relaxing. There is one bedroom and one bath on the first floor, and three bedrooms and a bath on the second floor.
This home is neighbor to 1825 Farmhouse and 1825 Barn. They all share the 35-acre well-maintained grounds. There is a shared scenic pond and fire pit. Get to know families from other states and swap baseball philosophies around the campfire under the stars. The property backs up to the Fly Creek Cider Mill and the host maintains a footpath to the Cider Mill.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I liked that it had 4 bedrooms which worked for 4 adults. It was also close to town which required minimal driving. A nice comfortable place to stay and the recliner was a bonus.
Beautiful historic home. We were visiting the area with warmer weather and no AC available. Heat difficult to adjust to make it comfortable. Overall a nice property.
Stayed here w my son for a presidents day weekend trip to the hof. The cottage is clean, rusti3c and very well equipped. It is very centrally located to the HOF (5 mins), Clark sports center (7 mins), and ommegang (7 mins). Similar short

beautiful area, wonderful location for Dreams Park
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Jean was so friendly and helpful, even leaving food for my little ones to feed the chickens. The fire pit was prepped every night so all you had to do was light it and enjoy. The property is gorgeous and we loved walking the path to the cider mill each day. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and clean. The only thing to make it any better would be replacing a few of the mattresses, but we were so tired from being at baseball all day that it wasn't a huge issue. We really loved the area and the location can't be beat if you're in town for tournaments at the Dreams Park. The kitchen was well stocked, great washer/dryer, etc. The area was quiet and peaceful. Oh, and it has A/C which worked great and some places don't have it - you do need it!
The 1825 Cottage was perfect for our stay of 7 friends exploring Cooperstown. The management company answered questions quickly prior to booking. The homeowner was very nice and welcoming. The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities - pots, pans, utensils, dishes, Keurig, etc. Only 1 bedroom has a TV but that didn’t matter as we were only in the bedrooms to sleep. The common areas of the home are cozy and ample. We did not use the fire pit as it was very cold, but it would definitely be a nice end to a day around town during the warmer months. The only improvement would be to have some extra pillows on hand. We were only able to find 1 extra. Wonderful stay overall! We will definitely look at the 1825 Cottage for a return stay!

Unbelievable Rental + Property
I cannot say enough good things about this property and the extremely kind and friendly owners! The house is very well stocked! It’s in an ideal location for commuting to and from Dreamspark! The property is shared with 2 other properties but we never really saw anyone else! Huge backyard fire pit- perfect for family time and wiffle ball! There’s a few ponds on the property as well as access to Fly Creek to catch crawdads and get a line wet!
Everytime I’d reach out to the owner with a question or for help, he would go above and beyond to answer and help us find places on the property! Some purple wildflowers were in full bloom and it was like walking through a fairytale around the creek.
House is equipped with AC which I know is not common up there- so that was a huge perk! We loved everything about staying here- except having to leave! We will be back for the rest of our kids’ trip to Dreamspark in the future!!!

Great home in a great location
We booked this home for our Cooperstown baseball week. The home was an easy drive from Dreams Park, and an easy drive to the Hall of Fame.
The home as advertised. Clean, well equipped, and easy to access. We walked to the Fly Creek Cider Mill multiple times. We ate at Jerry's, which was close by. The general store was a throwback to the good old days. The Fly Creek area is quaint and picturesque.
The owner directed us to multiple ponds on the property. Our son caught at least three different varieties of fish. A well appreciated bonus.
I would recommend this home to anyone who is staying at Dreams Park or anyone who plans to make multiple trips to the Hall of Fame. We would love to return one day.
Nice location, close to hall of fame. Comfortable furnishings. Overall, a nice getaway.

A great house in a great location, would stay again.
The house was perfect for us - there were four of us and we each had our own bedroom, with plenty of space for us to be together or keep to ourselves. The kitchen and living area are comfortable - and we made use of the patio and grill as well. The house is a five minute drive from Main Street in Cooperstown - so easy to get to and from the Hall of Fame, shops, restaurants, bars, and more. Next time I go to Cooperstown, I'll hope to stay at this home in Fly Creek again.

This cottage is charming and cozy.
We had a lovely visit at 1825 Cottage. Although it has all the modern conveniences, the historic wooden touches greatly added to the charm.
The amenities——washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc were nice and easy to use. There were plenty of towels, fresh bath soap and laundry pods. We especially appreciated the oversized dining room table as the 6 of us played cards every evening. The outside fire pit area is beautiful.
The Cottage is conveniently located in beautiful country. It was a quick trip to Cooperstown, which was the primary focus of our trip.
Thank you for your hospitality!

House was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was roomy with very nice appliances. Glassware could be a little better. No wine glasses or cocktail glasses.
We had a nice stay while we were in town for Cooperstown Dreams Park. The house was close to the park, on a nice property and had everything that we needed. We were grateful that we were able to drop off our luggage a little early.
If you're going to Cooperstown and Cooperstown Dreams Park, this is place to stay. The house is even better than the pictures show it and you're minutes away from everything. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This was a perfect spot when our son played at Dreams Park. It's a short drive to the fields and downtown Cooperstown. The cottage was extremely clean, check in/check out was easy and the area was quiet.

Great house for Cooperstown Dreams Park
We just got home from a great stay at 1825 Cottage! Our son was playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park (CPD), and this house was just perfect. The house easily accommodated my husband, myself, our 10 year old son, and 2 sets of grandparents. The house is an easy 10 minute drive to CPD, an easy 8 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown, and convenient to the grocery store.
We had some of the families on our team over to the house one evening for a fire pit and s'mores. Everyone who came into the house remarked about how nice it was. The kitchen had everything we needed, the washer/dryer was awesome to have, and the fire pit had more wood prepared than anyone could possibly go through in a week!
Thank you for a wonderful stay. It truly made our week all the more special.
