"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Pentewan. The accommodation was very well presented and maintained, and was spotlessly clean. Thank you also for the delicious welcome scones. It's located in a lovely setting. A very short walk from Pentewan's little square, with two charming cafes (with more delicious scones!) and a village pub. And it's only a tad further to Pentewan's old quay and onward to the beach! The Eden project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and lots of other villages/towns...

The post code for us put us out at least 100 meters away and its located in a property that is not called Quaker Hall anymore! The check in instructions need the proper address. "Immaculately clean and tidy apartment with great view and very near to a lovely beach. Bed was comfy, towels were good quality and fluffy! Loads of room too. A couple of downsides but overall did not affect our stay. The hotel next door who give you the key are unfriendly and clearly have a bad relationship with the lodges owners. The patio over looks a car park (just be honest about this) and the furniture needs replacing. We were in a ground floor appartment but great sea view. Instructions...

My only slight criticism is that, in common with other buildings of this age, there is little sound insulation between the apartment and the accommodation above. The only issues we encountered were the lack of taxis on a rainy day, book well in advance (no Uber), Just Eat is the only food delivery app that has any availability (only 4 restaurants) and the phone signal and data coverage is very patchy. "We had four nights here over Feb half term with a 7 and 4 year old. We loved rockpooling, exploring the caves & the beach cafe all literally a few steps from our door. Also enjoyed a trip into Falmouth for swimming pool & maritime museum. The chalet is as described and Hayden was very responsive to our needs. Thanks for a great trip."
