Fantastic hotel with exceptional customer service and hospitality. Great location for exploring Florence and all members of the team made us feel so welcome and were available for any queries/requests we had. I'd visit Florence again, just to stay here. Building is full of character and breakfast here, was a great way to start the day.

They have some kind of high tech lighting system in the room that was glitchy. They worked on it for about 2 hrs after we checked in. Finally got the lights to come on by changing out a switch box the next morning. Only had 1 light the first night that we could get on. The bathroom light. After the switch was changed out, there were still some lights that did not come on. The staff was friendly, and tried to help, but the hotel was full up, and they had no other rooms available. I’ve never been in such a small elevator. Opted to take the stairs. Thankfully I was only on the 2nd floor.

This very charming boutique property is within walking distance of all the main attractions in Florence. The fact that Mona Lisa's stolen painting was recovered from the property adds to the appeal. The property is well-appointed and has sophisticated rooms. However, it lacks other amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The charm of the city, many F&B choices, and other amenities within the city more than compensate for what the hotel lacks.

The parking garage is just a short walk from the hotel- be warned it is down a few very narrow streets! We were very grateful of the luggage storage so we could explore all of our second day. A great place to stay if you like to be close to the most important things in the city. Few minute walking distance to every major important places like the duomo, Ferragamo store and museum, Ponte Vecchio, piazza della Sgnoria. Santa Maria Novella and so many other beautiful places. Almost forgot the train station five minutes walking distance and many great restaurants. The staff really great, Margherita a very friendly woman that make sure that you had a great breakfast before going out in to thot day. Mona Lisa Revival
The Frame is a superb, unique boutique hotel. Rooms are beautifully appointed. The Mona Lisa is the theme - ask for the hotel’s story. Rooms are extremely clean and had everything you could need. Shower was slightly small, but typical for Europe. Location is perfect to all sites and very accessible. Lots of great shops, cafes, restaurants near by. Overall, conceirge team was very helpful. Just some confusion if breakfast was included, if wine bar was “complimentary”, and if we had paid city taxes already. I included this in review, because we felt that the language barrier made it unclear and we received different answers depending which staff member we asked. In any case, we loved this hotel. Would definitely stay again. Maybe a little more training for front desk staff on consistency if booking is third party. Again, hotel is wonderful in every other way though.
