Great location! But not soundproof, it gets noisy. It was nice to hear the music in the plaza at nights but during the day, the construction starts very early in the mornings. The bed and pillow weren’t the most comfortable. We had decent sleep but didn’t feel rested. It sucks that there is almost no one at the reception during the day because we were hoping to store our luggage for a couple of hours after checking out. The accommodation also lacks the finer details, such as there was an espresso machine but no pods, there was wine in the mini fridge but no bottle opener or glasses.

Although the room was in a convenient are, it was the most miserable nights sleep we’ve ever had! The air conditioner was blowing warm air all night so we didn’t sleep at all. We both soaked the bed with sweat. It was absolutely miserable. I told the host about it after the first night and nothing was done. The second night was the absolute worst night(at least 80 degrees F in our room). I did tell him again and he said sorry but the air was fine. Total rip off

Our stay started off terribly and got worse.The first night (11:59PM exactly, confirmed by security footage), one of the employees opened our locked door (locked from inside) and walked into our room. We were already hearing lots of noises in the hallway leading to our room so we tried to barricade the door with our suitcases before this, as well as locking it. Despite the locked door, resistance by the suitcase barrier and both of us inside the room calling out to "Stop" and that the room was occupied, the employee ignored all of this and walked in anyways. Not only was this a breach of privacy as we were in bed trying to sleep at this late hour, this was a HUGE security/safety concern. With our door locked and us in the room, the employee still came in. I jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed to try confront and discover who broke into our room in the hallway. He ignored me completely. We were now worried for the rest of the trip that there was a highly probable chance that an employee could simply enter our room as they please. For this reason, and the fact that there is no safe on the property for your valuables, we actually kept our valuables (money, jewelery, etc...) on our persons for the whole entire trip. This put as at risk the whole time, but at least this way we had some control over our valuables seeing as they were with us and not left unguarded at the property. There is more to this review, but a limit on Expedia review size. Go literally anywhere else!!!!!

Book the suite if you can!!! The view of the Duomo was breathtaking!! The room was beautiful, clean and very quiet at night due to the double windows in the bedroom. Bed was memory foam and very comfortable. I couldn’t believe how soundproofed the room became despite the craziness below. A highlight for me was having a glass of wine in the tub after a long day of sightseeing and gazing at the Duomo through the open window of the bathroom. Simply unreal. Staff answered my requests swiftly. After check ( I believe it was after dinner) I requested two extra pillows and they arrived in the room within an hour. The hotel held our luggage for us the day of check out. They were friendly, courteous and respectful. We loved our stay here.

Great location but not our favorite
The location is fantastic- right next to the Duomo. We were able to walk everywhere from there. Upon check in, the host greeted us and showed us how to use the keys. The building that it is located in is a bit dark and creepy to be honest, but once inside the B&B, it is fine. The room was very clean, but there is no storage for clothes. Another drawback compared to a hotel is that there is no staff on location 24H and no concierge (there is an info card in the room with recommendations for restaurants, etc.). If a clean room in the perfect location is your top priority, this will do fine. If you want more amenities, I would look elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in the property. The room was nice but lacked amenities you expect at this price. It feels like a self-serve inn, giving you the bare minimum. Don’t count on having staff here or being available by phone. The last hotel I stayed at was a two star but provided so much more.
