No elevator in this hotel and the room had a strong smell of mold. You can smell the mold as soon as you enter the room. Also, the AC occationally blew a sewage smell, making is difficult to stay in the room. Don't recommend this hotel

The hotel is in great location but no elevator. The reception area looks very poor. The reception guy was nice, helpful with the luggage. The bathroom smells the sewer. We will not recommend this hotel if you like 4 stars and higher.

Very clean property and nice breakfast. Friendly staff, great hotel. Just be warned, there is no elevator. Which is fine until your partner waits till the ground floor to realise they've left their phone on the bed on the fourth floor. Otherwise 10/10

Hotel Lombardia feels a tiny bit bit old-school Italian hotel (in the best sense) with parquet wood floors, traditional wood furniture, and lots of stairs. It is comfortable especially thanks to in-room air-conditioning. Breakfast is in the first floor, and the salon adds to the charm. The standout qualities were the location (between SM Novella and SM dei Fiore), and the excellent front desk staff.

The amazing staff with a very optimal location definitely outweigh some infrastructural issues. If you are in for a relatively short stay, NOT in super hot July/super cold January, are younger than 55, this is a very optimal choice. The hotel is roughly 5 mins walk from the train station and roughly 5 mins walk to Duomo, as the building itself is part of the “Old Town” - one needs to tame their expectations regarding elevators and wide open spaces. This said, leaking hoses, issues with water drainage and the general wear and tear of the infrastructure definitely have room for improvement. But with all this, the staff went above and beyond: our heavy bags were carried, our brat children were tolerated. THANK YOU!

Beautiful City!
Our room was nicely appointed and quiet. The hotel was a short walk from the train station and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is very well located, you can walk to the train station, the cathedral, baptistery, shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable, impeccable cleanliness, breakfast was very good. It doesn't have an elevator but they helped us with our suitcases.
