Close to the train terminal (walkable) this hotel is older but very nice. The staff was great and there were quite a few places to eat close by. Breakfast buffet was good. The old fashioned elevator was a plus!

Totally good for a short stay in Florence - short walk and easy to find from train station (I arrived very late). 15 mins walk to a lot of the main city centre sights. Staff helpful when asked for information. I enjoyed the cake and coffee breakfast.

I would go there again.

All of the folks were very helpful and courteous. The wifi could have been better but it seemed to be dependent on the time I was using it. It was clean and had been recently renovated.

It needs a little TLC, but it serves the purpose for the amount of time that you spend in the room. Very close to the center of Florence.

The room was very spacious for 4 people, and the location is ideal for travel by train, as it is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. Distance to the major tourist attractions is a bit farther but totally walkable. The staff is very friendly and we’re very accommodating when we arrived prior to checking time. My only suggested improvement would be a safe in the t’room to lock up valuables, and also a bottle opener and glasses, but again staff was accommodating with supplying glasses. Overall an excellent staff in a spectacular city.

Can be improved

Small hotel with a classic mid-20 century style and furniture. Friendly staff and well cleaned room. The beds were pretty hard and rather uncomfortable (and i like hard beds), so after a few nights i was really looking forward to a better sleep. Breakfast was very simple and repeated daily, had 3-4 very good cakes and pies, but it lacked in non-sweet alternatives. No salad/vegetables at all, and one day not even the non-sweet croissant was available; only sliced bread, cheese, ham and boiled egg if you wanted to avoid sweet stuff.
