Hilltop ocean view round house

Round house perfect for private getaway. On top of a hill with an ocean view from almost every room. Lots of trails around the house to enjoy as well as Mercer and Collard lake just up the road. Master bedroom has attached bathroom with shower/tub and king bed. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and large closets, fourth bedroom has twin and ocean view. There is a small futon upstairs in the crows nest. A new deck with a grill. A few minutes away from the grocery store and countless amazing beach trails off hw 101 as well as downtown Florence which is full of unique shops and restaurants.

Gorgeous views!
We loved staying at this property. Absolutely beautiful views, went paddle boarding at a little lake nearby, spent time at the beach, and the house had everything we needed. Very fun for the kids.

My family of 7 and dog stayed here. It has lots of space for everyone. It was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The trails around the home were fun for the kids and pets. It was a great location for all of our activities!

We can't say nice enough things about our stay - the view and surrounding property are incredible, the host was so helpful and responsive, the house is unique, warm and welcoming and had everything you need for cozy delightful times, and there is so much to do in the area. We left planning our next stay!

Perfect Family Home
We absolutely loved our stay. In fact, it was really hard to leave. The 360 room up top was the perfect spot to set up our projector and watch a family movie together. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bath tub in the master bedroom was perfect for soaking after a long day of adventure and fun. Lots of board games to play. The views are fantastic from almost every window. Perfect distance from everything including shopping, food, the beach, swimming spots, and Sandland Adventures where we went on a dune buggy tour and raced gocarts. The kids can't wait to book our next stay.

There’s so much to say about this property. But the thing that will stick out forever is how beautiful the 360 views are. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, big shower in the master. Just a 5 star property.

Awesome Retreat
Spent a couple of nights with some girlfriends in this lovely home. The view, solitude and perfect weather were just what we needed. Hours spent in the crows nest playing ukulele, singing and watching the sunset were restorative and perfect! Thank you for sharing this special space.

Fantastic location, view and property!
Unmatched views from the kitchen, living room and crowd nest. Heated floors in the bathroom were amazing! Silverware, dishes and kitchenwares were a bit dirty, with some appearing to have been put away uncleaned since last renter so we had to do a bit of cleaning on arrival but wasn’t too bad. Overall the rest of the home was quite clean. Safety “laser” on garage door closest to home also non-functional.

Incredible views and wonderful spaces
The property met or exceeded our expectations. Four bedrooms provided sleeping spaces for all in our group. The well labeled kitchen offered everything we needed. Beds enabled sound sleep. The views from living and upper levels impressed all of us: morning coffee conversations above, dinner below, and all enjoyed sunrises and sunsets. Florence or Heceta Beach were always just a short drive away. Thank you for sharing this special place with us!

Perfect for a group
This house was perfect for our group of 7. There were multiple places for all of us to gather for games, meals, or conversation, including the large table, the couches in the living room, and the magnificent crows nest. The place was clean and well provisioned. The host responded quickly to all questions before and during our stay. They were, by far, the friendliest and most helpful host I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The location can't be beat. It's close to the coast and just a few miles from Florence, and there are plenty of paths and dunes to explore right out the back door. I would stay here again.

Fantastic stay at this lovely Florence home
We had such a great time. We were 4 girlfriends looking for a fun getaway. We brought dogs and it was amazing. We were a 10 minute drive to the beach or to the downtown dining. The house was great. Nice size bedrooms for all of us. Nice dining room table for meals and game playing. Great sunset views in the upstairs. And the property is really wonderful with trails coming from all sides. Thanks to Danica who was so great in her communication. And the arrival sign was such a warm touch.

Great Stay!
This house was great for our group. It is well stocked with most everything you need. The view is fabulous. The owner was great about communicating with us when we had questions. I read a review that said a 2-wheel car might have trouble getting up to the house. Not sure why; it is a little steep, narrow and curvy, but we didn't have any problems. Easy to find with their directions; You just have to pay attention to them. The listing does say there is a pool and spa, which there is not. That wasn't a problem for us, but if you're expecting that, just be aware. We are going back again.

Disappointing but Functional
We used this as a meeting point for six family members. Pros: bed set up was as described, house was relatively clean, labeling of the dishes and cabinets on the outside was very nice, and the home was very quiet. Cons: driveway was rutted, steep and made up of loose stone, which made it difficult in a 2 Wheel drive vehicle. Some of the furniture was broken down, and the slider did not work well. The biggest issue was the communication from the property manager. The Wi-Fi code did not work despite multiple attempts along with copying and pasting it directly, We reached out to management, including the owner a total of three times. The owner never responded and the management company did not have an answer or appear to have an interest. We could not do mandatory work with no internet. I would suggest that the owner spend a day walking around the property with a critical eye and sitting on the furniture. I'm sure it was very nice ,but now needs a refresh. Also need to respond to guest concerns.

Stunning panoramic view, hundreds of feet above the surrounding terrain. Beautiful Lake Mercer at base of the hill with pontoon rentals. We have stayed twice and would like to return. Overall, a wonderful place.

The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone! Well stocked. Very woodsy yet close to town. The kids loved the crows nest! I would definitely open the bottom floor as a game room! Pet friendly! We will be back!
