Bright apartment, perfect for spending unforgettable days in beautiful Florence.
Located in Porta Romana, the southernmost of the ancient walls, one of the most important access routes to the historic center of Florence, 800 meters from Palazzo Pitti and 1km on foot from Ponte Vecchio and the historic center, we are also at the foot of Piazzale Michelangelo: the balcony of Florence, with the wonderful avenue of the hills, ideal for your relaxation and jogging activities and the Forte Belvedere.
The house, just outside the restricted traffic area, is easily accessible by car, from the boulevards and also from the motorway, with the possibility of parking or private garage (by booking in advance).
The residential area is well served, under the house you can find everything you need, bank, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pharmacies, grocery stores, boutiques, taxis, bus stops and CitySightseeing type tourist buses.
We are very close to the city center and the train station.
The apartment is quiet, bright and panoramic, located on the second floor, there are stairs to climb, composed of: entrance hall, living room with sofa bed and dining area, kitchen, equipped with fridge, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, oven microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine.
Two king-size double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The two sleeping areas are completely separated by doors, and allow total privacy.
Small terrace shared with another apartment.
Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, TV with digital terrestrial.
The house will be at your complete disposal, in compliance with its rules, complete with every comfort and equipment, ideal for couples or families with children:
- complete with bed linen, bath, blankets and pillows, it can accommodate up to 6 people.

Stefano and Patricia did a very nice job of welcoming us and making sure we knew what was nearby and how to get around. This rental is wonderful if you like to walk. We took the bus up to Piazza Michaelangelo and walked back. Boboli Gardens, just down the street was delightful. there were so many good restaurants nearby. It was nice to be a little bit away from the very busy heart of Florence.

Hosts Stefano and Patrizia were the friendliest people! The property is immaculate with two full bathrooms. The property is a 2 minute walk from the entrance to Piazza Romana, where the best Firenze experiences begin. Dont miss Mila's Pizzeria right next door. We will definitely stay here again.

This holiday home is in a great location and easy to get too. We enjoyed our stay as the apartment was a perfect size for our family and within walking distance to many things. We will stay here again (if available) the next time we travel to Firenze! Oh, and our hosts were quite lovely and very welcoming!

We loved staying in the DiladdArno Holiday Home. We loved stay within a neighborhood setting. The apartment was clean and had every thing we needed. The host was very helpful and would help us with any questions. We hated to leave and would recommend the apartment to anyone who is visiting Florence!

Spent 5 nights staying here. Communication from Stefano the owner was excellent. It's a bit out of the centre and around 15 mins walk to the Ponte Veccio bridge. However it allows you to explore a more local side to Florence and some much more authentic eating exoeriences away from the massive amounts of tourists in the centre. We tended to spend our days in the centre and nights closer to the apartment. Would definitely recommend for families or small groups who don't mind walking and discovering the more authentic sides to a city.

Comfortable Stay
Our time at Stefano’s was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. After staying in hotels for a few days it was great to have a kitchen to enjoy our coffee with no rush. Having two restrooms was also a great add on! We were avle to move by bus with no problem and each of us slept great !

Perfect place to stay in Florence!
We’ve been to Florence many times so we wanted to stay somewhere more local/less touristy and this was the perfect fit. Great neighbourhood, easy access to everything you need and quick 20-30min walk to the main city centre. The apartment is fantastic, super clean and has everything you need. Can easily fit 2-4 people (2 couples) as there are two bedrooms. We would happily stay here again!

Authentic Florence!
We three senior ladies loved this apartment. It's located in the quieter section of Florence (Porta Romana) and it's easy to take a taxi or bus to the old city. It has modern amenities and is close to excellent restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Highly recommend!

Stefano and Patrizia are indeed super hosts. Great communication and the location is fabulous. The apartment is comfortable, exactly as described and was perfect for our group of 4. Lots of GREAT restaurants within 5 minutes walk, one of which is in the Michelin Book (Podere 39). Getting to downtown and all the points of interest are within walking distance. We also rented a spot in the parking garage next door which was organized by the hosts. Its also a great starting point for easy drives to Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano which is a must see. Diladdarno Holiday Home is a true gem!

Fun in Florence
Apartment was immaculate and in a great location. Our vacation took us to Florence for a stay in the city. Stefano and his wife were very helpful hosts. We needed a taxi to take a tour. Stefano gave us a good contact for the taxi. Later that night, we tried to walk back to the apartment and had no concerns as the neighborhood seemed very safe. Enjoy.

Central spot for easy access to museums and restaurants
We (5 of us, aged 4-73) stayed for 3 nights. The apartment was well situated and very comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond, both friendly and accommodating! There is parking next door, if needed. We arranged for parking through the host with no problem; then chickened out of driving in town at the last minute and the host cancelled for us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Florence!!!! Thank you for everything!

Every Picture Tells a Story
This is a very well appointed, equipped and stocked home. Great location, excellent communication with the hosts. There are no surprises here. One very spacious shower and another which is good for slim folks. The bedrooms are well separated as are the baths so a very good private situation. Good lighting with really good sound proofing from the street below. Beds are comfortable!!! I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. To our hosts, I would like to thank you for providing us with what all voyageurs would want while on the road.

Perfect vacation for two sisters
This is a beautiful apartment that was perfect for 2 sisters traveling together to Italy for the first time. It is in a great neigborhood just outside the Porta Romana in the Oltrarno district. A close walk to Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchia, Santa Spirito and Piazza Signoria and not too far to walk to the Duomo area. Alternatively, there is a taxi stand nearby. Note that the apartment building does not have an elevator - thankfully Stefano was there to help us with our luggage. Lots of good restaurants nearby, especially across from Pitti Palace. Tommaso was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed. We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Lovely, as advertised
A lovely two bedroom, 2 bath apartment, I shared with just my boyfriend, as we like extra space. Stefano & Patrizia met us at apt. Stefano carried my luggage up (3 flights of steps) and my bf carried his own. The steps were fine w/ us (we are 61 and 63 y.o., both in good shape) but maybe not for everyone. The bathroom shower en-suite is a bit small but no problems at all. They left us a bottle of wine and chocolates, a nice touch. Neighborhood a bit further out from City Center than we expected but great restaurants in this residential neighborhood. Very enjoyable stay. Grazie mille, Stefano & Patrizia!

A good choice to stay in Florence!
We spent an amazing week in Florence at Tommaso's apartment! Located in Oltrano, 20 minutes on foot from the Vecchio Bridge and every point of interest in town, this spacious apartment that accommodates six people, has everything it takes to cook at home or relax after a whole day on foot. 😉 At the check-in, which was easy and quick, we received tips to get around in the area. There are restaurants, supermarkets and fruit stand in the neighborhood and we felt at home. There's also a parking lot in the building for 20 euros a day, a good choice for the people who rented a car like us. Communication with Tommaso was very easy, and every time we needed to get in touch with him, his response was quick and informative. Thanks for the great stay. We absolutely recommend.
