"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"Very convenient and easy to find location. We had a flight out the next morning and this property was very close to where you catch the train. There were plenty of restaurants, shops & restaurants in the area as well. Beautiful view across the river was a short walk away as well!"

"So disappointed with this accommodation it had the potential to be a great experience. But the air conditioning did not work at the height of summer and the communication with the company was bad and not helpful. A big disappointment for the money paid."

"On January 17, 2025, we found the bathroom was full of mold, we used bleach to clean the shower and around sink and bought a fan to run to try to prevent more from forming. The kitchen also had black mold. We did not notice this at check in as the host sent her son who did not show us anything and had a difficult time responding to our questions. The bedroom and bathroom are subterranean and you have to go down scary steps to these rooms, very uncomfortable, smelled moldy and not in the VRBO...

"This property is just as pictured and more! The location is perfect and quiet yet just a 2 min walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The restaurants that are close by are amazing and the walk ability to everything is a bonus. Now, if taking a taxi from the airport myself and my friends both experienced this…they will not drop you off at the door. They drop you off at the top of the street and you will walk about 100m. Not a big deal unless you have more than 1 piece of luggage on a cobblestone street. I...

"Had a wonderful two nights in Florence at Lorenzo’s apartment! It was perfect, centrally located, enough space for 2 adults and 10, 14 year old. 2 bathrooms was wonderful. He even gave us excellent restaurant recommendations in town. It was a perfect stay!"

"Amazing apartment and managed so well! The location was perfect and a 10-20 min walk to wherever we wanted to go. Apartment was super spacious, very clean, and updated. Beds were very comfortable. "One great restaurant for dinner, no lunch options. Maybe a small snack bar would be great for us without a vehicle. At pre-season mid April. Sadly No gym until later in the season with the pool. Otherwise beautiful and worth the stay!"

"Great property! Of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, this hit all the check boxes. 5 minute walk from the train station, right next to plenty of shopping and dining options and walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Modern conveniences, wonderful shower, comfortable bed and kind staff. They also had an iron I was able to borrow which was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend! "

"From the moment we saw the hotel across the plaza to the moment we checked out and ran to our train, we loved the Grand Hotel Baglioni. The reception staff was wonderful! The gentlemen that helped us the most were Sr Bonarino who checked us in and gave us great transit advice for one of our unique stops, and Sr Francesco, who took our bags right up to our room for us and said hello to us each time we passed in the hallways. The room itself was marvelous! We will absolutely be returning to this establishment in the future. It is in a magnificent location, relatively close to everything downtown, safe, clean, beautiful, and friendly. The premises and staff surpassed our wildest dreams and gave us a very memorable stay in the already memorable Firenze."
