Gorgeous mountain views! Less than two and a half hours from NYC, ten minutes from Belleayre Ski Center, this cozy and private cabin is perfect for a romantic couples retreat, two couples, a small family, or a group of friends looking for a relaxing and quiet escape. *Unlimited High-Speed Broadband Wifi Internet now provided*
We're just a short drive from Phoenicia, Woodstock, and Margaretville for shopping, dining and river tubing, and 140 miles from NYC (about 2 1/2 hours from the GW bridge), and we're just 1/2 mile from the NYC bus route, with buses leaving Port Authority several times a day. Plus, we get great cell phone service through Verizon, a rare thing in this part of the world. Fall foliage here is equal or better than anywhere in Vermont or New Hampshire. Shampoo, soap, lotions will be available on premise. Netflix account is set up and ready for your viewing pleasure!

We really loved this property. Close to Bellayre and only about 20 minutes to Plattekill. Very clean and quiet, no complaints at all. Will stay again if we get the opportunity!

A Perfect Getaway
This was our second stay, but it won't be the last. The property is charming and cozy. It was too cold to sit by the outside fire, so we used the fireplace and it was perfect.

Great Place To Stay!!!!!!
This place with everything we hoped it would be and then some. Hosts were easily accessible. The whole hog theme of the cabin was a great touch. We were there to hike and found a ton of trails in the area. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to anyone.

Great Cabin

Stayed here over winter break with my kids to ski near by. My family enjoyed the hog-related items in the home as well as the the hidden super heros all around the property. Everything was comfortable. Sunrises were beautiful and communicating with the owner was a breeze. Thank you for the stay!

Great cozy little cabin! Kitchen was one of the best stocked I have ever seen in a rental. Feels secluded, but is close to town, groceries and a ton of hikes.

Beautiful spot from which to explore the Catskills. Quiet with very relaxing porch overlooking the mountains. It is amazing how we depend on a working coffee pot which crashed and burned just prior to our visit, but we improvised!!.

Cozy retreat
Very nice cabin with great wood stove insert near the comfortable couch and tv. We hiked Hunter and Slide Mountains and this cabin was well situated between the two. Be aware you need to stop at a gas station to bring your own firewood. Binnekill Tavern in Margaretville was a great place to eat in a very cute town.

Loved everything about this place
I absolutely loved your little cottage. We were in the area for a wedding at the Spillian and honestly I would have rather stayed the whole weekend just cuddled up with my husband in this quaint home. We will definitely be back! Just a note - we were not able to get the living room tv on.

Fantastic Fall Weekend away at the Hog
The hog cabin is everything described on Vrbo, and much more! The cabin is super clean, and so well stocked that you don’t really need to leave to go out anywhere. The views of the mountains, especially now with the leaves changing, was stunning at sunrise and sunset. The deck was perfect for doing morning yoga. The fire pit is a great addition for evening fires. The beds are super comfy and the games Provided fun entertainment at night. The location is exactly what we were looking for as the property is secluded yet a short drive to some local spots and areas to hike. We will definitely be back again.

Cozy getaway
Maria was a great host! Very communicative. She let us know ahead of time that there was an issue with the furnace and gave us a refund to buy firewood. She also reached out a few times during our stay to make sure we were ok. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Large enough for all our things but small enough to be nice and cozy. Will definitely come back!

Cozy Catskill Hideaway
Lovely cozy cabin close to Fleischmanns & Margaretville. Close to groceries, hikes, lakes etc. The cabin is small but easily could accommodate two of us. We loved the hidden superheroes around the place and the hog-related decor. Beds were comfy, cabin was clean, and the stars were so bright! The only thing I’d say is there’s no AC at the cabin so it can get a little hot during the day, and there’s no dishwasher. Maria was an exceptional host and communicated clearly with us and even let us check out late.

Good stay, but could easily have been better
The place name includes fireplace, but there were only a few logs available. When I texted the host about where to find more, (and kindling) she replied that "guests usually bring their own". Aside from the fact the New York and other states forbid bringing firewood in from other states, I could not find any mention of this on the listing. The host gave us access to a shed with more wood, but this was still disappointing. The kitchen needs dish towels, a toaster/oven with all of the parts, and a broom and dustpan.
