Little Creek is a charming, but small cabin. Best fit is (2) adults or maybe (2) adults and 1-2 Children. Max occupancy is (4) people Total.

Tucked away in the picturesque pines and Majestic Hardwoods of the North Carolina High Country sits a cabin built from 200 year old logs named Little Creek. Just over one mile from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, this romantic getaway is situated on over 7 wooded acres at the end of an undisturbed lane which will provide much sought-after peace, quiet, and privacy. Guests can enjoy hiking on cabin grounds or grab a much-needed breath of fresh air curled up under the tin-roofed front or back porch with a steaming mug of coffee. On the property rests a small flower garden that attracts local butterflies and hummingbirds eager to welcome you to your newest home away from home. At the back of the property while watching the sunset over the mountains you will also be able to view an enchanting Christmas tree farm.

As you approach the cabin you will be struck by it’s picturesque setting. The exterior is authentically constructed from beautiful, antique, hand-hewn logs. This interior will not disappoint! You are greeted at the door by hickory plank flooring and a striking wood-burning fireplace. Complete with two bedrooms, the Master is located on the main level of the property, offering an antique queen bed frame and pillow-top mattress. (Please note that the frame and mattress causes this bed to be HIGHER than normal). The second bedroom and one-half bath comprise the second level of the cabin and house a double and twin bed. This unique cabin is the perfect fit for a couple or small family.

Little Creek Cabin is conveniently located to Boone/Blowing Rock, The Jefferson’s, Historic Todd/New River, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is just over the ridge.

WINTER RENTALS: 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles are recommended during winter months when visiting anywhere in the mountains, as you my encounter snow/slippery conditions.

Little Creek Cabin
The cabin is a beautiful secluded gem surrounded by trees and where you can see a beautiful night sky. If quiet , peaceful and cozy is what you need , this is the place. It is about a 20 minute drive to a great grocery store and the towns of West Jefferson and Boone and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is wonderful hiking in all directions and access to the New River for Kayaking in the warmer months. This cabin and the surrounding area is a slice of paradise. The host, Paul Reardon, could not be more helpful or kind.

The location and setting of this beautiful old cabin alone is reason to select as a vacation destination. Perfect accommodations for a small group to relax and enjoy a quiet spot nestled in the woods with a Christmas Tree farm just over the hill. A perfect little hide away.

Birthday Getaway at Little Creek Cabin
When we pulled up we immediately fell in love with this adorable little cabin and the property it sits on. As soon as you open the front door it feels like a home away from home. The views at the top of the hill overlooking the Christmas Tree farm were breathtaking as well. The owner of the property is really nice and answers any questions you may have within minutes. This was a little slice of heaven hidden in the mountains, we can’t wait to go back!

We have stayed in this cabin at least 6 times and it never disappoints. Always enjoy the chipmunks…. running up on the porch and chasing each other. Saw the deer several times and fed them corn and apples. Missed seeing Rombey the last 2 visits…. did he pass away? Paul is a great host and communicated well. Tatums Elizabeth City NC

Wonderful stay
My wife and I spent the weekend at this wonderful cabin and it was all we'd hope it would be. The cabin was rustic in design but had all the amenities you would want. Sitting on the back porch and walks to the beautiful view out back made the weekend very relaxing and restful. We definitely plan on coming back. Paul was terrific and very helpful.

Perfect for a couple getaway
This little cabin is perfect for a couple seeking a quiet getaway. Clean and cozy, this cabin is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by a deep forest and by a scenic stream. It's peaceful and private but conveniently located for both Boone and West Jefferson and only five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin has a rustic charm but is very comfortable and clean. Small and cozy, it is just right for a couple. All the amenities you need are provided. The owner is very welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience very pleasant. All in all, I'd give this getaway the highest recommendation!

Perfection!
My son and I spent four glorious days at Paul’s place. The cabin was spotless, cozy, very well equipped and so so comfortable. The property was stunning and offered multiple areas to enjoy it from. Our favorite was at the top of the ridge where we found a hammock, some chairs and amazing views. Everything was perfect and provided the peaceful retreat we both needed. Paul is a wonderful host! He was always quick to respond and provided great information on the property. He also shared some of his favorite local spots, including the Old Barn Winery, which I highly recommend. I look forward to spending more time at Little Creek Cabin in the near future!

This is our 5th stay at this great property. Always quiet…. Just the birds chirping and wind blowing in the trees. Great location between Boone and West Jefferson with many things to see and do no matter what your interests are. Paul was a very attentive host and check in was very easy. We’ll be back!!

An absolute slice of HEAVEN!
First off Paul, the host, was fantastic! He was instantly like family. We pulled up (knowing that pictures can be deceiving) and let me tell you, the pictures didn't even do this beautiful cabin justice; it's breathtaking! We were also greeting but a little herd of deer, which was a bonus. The craftmanship of this cabin is unparallel to anything I have experienced (and we are cabin enthusiast, so that's saying a lot!) It was SO clean and comfortable. My two daughters loved their private loft. It had everything you could ever need; including a fully stocked kitchen. It was tucked back in a perfect private pocket. So, if you are looking for an extremely peaceful, beautiful, relaxing weekend away to watch the stars multiply and maybe even the snow fall this is the place for you!

Christmas Vacation
Paul was an exceptional host, very accommodating and detail oriented with directions and instructions which I can appreciate. The cozy cabin was as advertised and fit our family of 4 comfortably for the Christmas holiday. The weather was incredibly cold with lows below zero Fahrenheit but the cabin stayed warm with the heaters and fireplace running most of the time. The cabin is situated at the end of a road which allows for privacy and seclusion. There are nice views of the mountains and we even had at least 12 deer walk by the cabin every morning. I cannot recommend Paul and his cabin enough to anyone wanting a perfect getaway to the mountains of NC.

Great Weekend Getaway
We had a great time at the cabin. It was in a great location, close to Boone and West Jefferson. The property was well maintained and the cabin was beautiful!! We came for a family weekend getaway to get a Christmas tree, go snow tubing, and hiking at Grandfather Mountain. Would love to come back one day!
