"We had a very nice stay at The Beer Joint. The hosts supply everything you need. Started each morning with coffee and sitting on the porch, and ended the day with a cocktail and sitting on the porch. Do wish there was a couch, but it is exactly as pictured and described. Would definitely stay there again."

"This house was one of the best I’ve stayed in. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and exactly as described in listing. Lots of thoughtful touches in the house to make it a great stay. It is close to dining, shopping, live music venues in downtown Bastrop - we walked from the house. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. I appreciated the secured parking onsite. I would definitely book again!"

"We stayed there with 12 people including three teens under age 15. The house was welcoming and we didn’t feel crowded with so many people. The other king bed is in the loft which I did not find very clear in the listing. We loved our stay. We were in town for my son’s wedding and it was the perfect home away from home. "The property is great for family and friends. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and game room. I loved that the state park is so close and we were able to take the kids on a nature walk. The historic district is nice for eating out and not too far away. Lastly, the home is well stocked and clean. I highly recommend staying here. "

"There are a number of issues with the listing 1. There are NOT 4 twin bunk beds (8 beds). There are 2 twin bunk beds for a total of 4 beds. 2. Property needs some serious TLC with respect to deep cleaning. cobwebs on chairs in kitchen on cabinets. walls/trims showing bad aging. coffee maker still had grounds from previous renters. food still in grill. trash found in common areas upon arrival. 3. the 4 beds are separate from main house (converted garage) and while it had vents, the main house...
