"We stayed from Friday the 15th until Sunday the 17th! It was NOT long enough! The location of this cabin is absolutely perfect! If you're looking for a cabin away from everything, this is IT! Its so peaceful you can hear the leaves crunch from the animals in the woods. We enjoyed every minute of it. We went for our anniversary and decided we will make it a tradition every year to go back. We were unable to build a fire even though we paid $30 for the wood. The wood was not left and it says not...

"This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin and it is a hidden gem! Everything works well- jacuzzi tub, hot tub, all appliances. Comes fully stocked and ready. Perfect if you want a well planned trip ahead of time but is ready to go for a last minute get away choice! Will book here over and over again! "

"This is a beautiful , secluded cabin in the woods. We felt like we were alone in the forest- no neighbors in sight till you walk down to the road. The front porch is unique- mountain theme and the supports are real trees. The backyard has a nice fire ring and nothing but trees in sight. The inside has a country- chic/ retro decor with a large stone fireplace. The kitchen is well- equipped for cooking. The location is near state parks and trails We enjoyed leaf peeping along the Little River...

"We had the best time at River Run! The home was gorgeous and in an ideal location. The owner was very responsive and quick to communicate. I would suggest updating the pots and pans that previous guests have ruined with metal utensils, and some WD40 on the patio doors, but there is nothing that would discourage me from returning! Thank you for a weekend of beautiful memories!"

"We stayed here for a girls trip and it was perfect for us. It’s a nice secluded area that was very clean and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was available to us. We forgot to bring coffee but when we arrived coffee was provided. The hot tub is also amazing! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. "

"Sage was a fantastic communicator from start to finish. The furniture definitely needs an upgrade, but that didn’t ruin my trip! Good location and quiet area. Close to amazing canyon views and Cloudland State Park. I felt close to everything but also off the beaten path. The hot tub was a nice perk after long days of walking!"

"A beautiful cabin conveniently located on Lookout Mountain very close to town and surrounding parks. Comfortable, quiet, and well stocked with all the comforts of home. The back deck was a perfect place to enjoy the spectacular sunset each evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night getaway at Hickory Hideaway!"

"Everything was fantastic! Enjoyed a much needed getaway for a relaxing weekend. We loved seeing the deer in the driveway from the kitchen window. The hot tub was spot on after hiking all afternoon. If not for Monday meetings we would stay an extra day."

"I was excited about the Little Blue Cabin. It was just the perfect size for my husband and I for the long weekend in Mentone that I had planned for us. It was conveniently located. I loved the gas fireplaces. Very easy to operate. The queen mattress downstairs was very comfortable. The couch was a bit worn and not very comfortable. "This house was the perfect size for our family and pets. It allowed all to have private space to rest and prepare for the wedding. The location was great for the distance to the wedding venue. The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect is if it were located closer to the brow of the mountain and had a view from the beautiful wrap around porch. "

"Delightful stay and thoughtful hosts. Property is immaculate and exactly as pictured. Location is spectacular with stunning scenery and everything nearby. The only thing I’d change is a more comfortable sofa to snuggle up and watch TV on when it’s rainy or cold and staying in is more attractive. We’ll be back!"
