Beautiful property nestled in the pines with awesome view of San Francisco Peaks. House is well stocked and comfy. Would love to come back and experience it in the summer!
We brought the whole family and had a blast. We went sledding in the back yard, the house is stocked with games, there’s room to spread out and the Mountain View’s are spectacular. The road out is not paved, but we made it with 2-wheel drive. Overall, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and would definitely stay there again.
Not only are the spacious home and very large property absolutely beautiful, they are extremely well maintained, cozy, comfortable, and fun! We had loads of snow during our visit and were able to use all the space to play outside and enjoy the outdoors. When we were all ready to go back in, the fireplace and family rooms were welcoming and warm. The kitchen is great and the laundry space / mud room is tremendously helpful. We weren’t able to use the back deck because of all the snow, but it made things easier when going outside. Our favorite parts of our stay were the frequent visits from deer families and playing uno near the fireplace. Thank you for a great stay! I would absolutely recommend staying here!
The views of the mountains is amazing! The photos don’t do it justice! The house was very clean, the towels and sheets were high quality. The mattresses and couches were very comfortable. We had plenty of fire wood and spent the evenings sitting by the cozy fire after a long day of hiking. The kitchen was well stocked. The only issue we had was that the internet was out. We got to the house on Sunday and couldn’t hook up to the internet. We also couldn’t get cell service in the house. We had to drive out of the neighborhood to get cell service to message the owner. He said the internet was down due to a recent storm. It still wasn’t restored when we left on Wednesday.
The only other thing to note is that you must drive about a mile on a VERY primitive road to get to the house. We had two vehicles with us. The small truck had no trouble but the small car had difficulty. The snow wasn’t cleared and the car was bottoming out and slipping and sliding on the icy mud and ruts.
We hoped we would get more snow but the house is much better than we could have imagined.
If you like a fully stocked kitchen this is the place!! They had everything and the views are beautiful! We burned a lot of wood and the flow of the house is perfect for families and staying in and enjoying each other. Rick was always available and responsive.
I would come back to this property again when we visit flagstaff. The people in town are also extremely nice.
Spent Thanksgiving week at the house. It was great. Had everything we needed.
It is a beautiful and quiet forested area close to town, so you get the best of both worlds.
Host was great. Easy to communicate with, and very helpful.
Kitchen is well stocked. Ample supply of towels and toiletries is also supplied.
Views are amazing. And, the deer visited mornings and afternoons.
I would recommend this home.
Absolutely breathtaking view that is family friendly with all the games and family necessities. This visit was only my spouse and myself but definitely want to plan for the entire family to stay for the weekend.
