Spacious Artist Loft with Mountain Views #3

Enjoy modern comfort in a historic 100+-year-old home in the heart of Flagstaff. The second-story apartment is one of four in this home. We are just a couple blocks from the downtown shopping district and dozens of restaurants and shops. The apt. is a charming, newly restored space in the Aspen and Park Historic Homes. Lowell Observatory, Thorpe Park, and the urban trails are all within a few blocks and are conveniently located for trips to the Grand Canyon and the Snowbowl Ski Area.

Welcome to our charming short-term rental nestled within a spacious 7-unit compound, featuring two homes. This fully furnished space offers a cozy queen-size bed. The well-designed kitchenette includes a mini fridge, coffee pot, and more amenities for your convenience. The living area is inviting and comfortable, with plenty of seating for reading and relaxation.

Please note that this historic home is shared with other guests, so noise may carry. To ensure a peaceful environment, we observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

The bathroom has a unique sloping ceiling, which gives it a quirky charm. Taller guests should be mindful of this when using the shower.

Additionally, there's a bonus room adjacent to the living area, featuring a lovely window and a single bed. While this room is not finished, it provides extra space for your comfort. If needed, the single mattress can be moved into the living area to accommodate additional guests.

We look forward to hosting your stay in our cozy and unique rental space!

You are in downtown Flagstaff, within walking distance of shops bars, and restaurants.

Our historic home has many great modern features but heating and cooling are not one of them. We do have a great radiant heating system in the winter along with extra portable units. In the hotter summer months, we can supply window or portable air conditioning systems plus fans to keep you comfortable.

Upon booking, expect a message with a link to our rental agreement.
Please keep quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.

Comfy & Cozy At The Raven’s Nest
Beautifully updated charming unit in historic home just a few blocks from delightful downtown Flagstaff. Easy check-in and communication with the owner. All amenities that we needed to feel comfortable and at home during our two night visit (even AC!) We will certainly return for another stay!

This was a unique place. It has a bedroom, living room, small kitchenette area and an odd bathroom. My only complaints are there is no climate control and the bathroom is oddly shaped. The house has an A-frame roof and the bathroom is built into it this leaves about 1/3 of the shower usable to an average height man. Also I had to stand off to the side of the toilet so my head wasn't against the ceiling. That being said it is much better than a shared bathroom. All said I would gladly use this place again if in the area and would recommend it. Just beware of you're tall.

A great place to live like a local for the weekend
The location is only 4 minutes from the Lowell Observatory and right off of the Historic Route 66. The loft is wonderfully toasty so bring cool clothes if you’re here in the swing season between Spring and Summer. If you’re looking for a good place to work on your book with some good surrounding inspiration this is the place. Be sure to take a stroll through the neighborhood!

Great in a blizzard
Raven’s Nest was a good fit for us, and when the March 1st blizzard hit Flagstaff we were greatly pleased to see the care management took to clean sidewalks and driveway. Apartment is clean, quiet and quite comfortable. Dan could not have been more helpful.

This was a great, relaxing place to stay near Downtown. I was only a 3 block walk away from Downtown, and even when I had to drive it was easy to head north and go around the Downtown bottlenecks on Forest, or go south and take the ramp onto southbound Rt66. You're also very close to the Sunday farmer's market just a couple blocks away. Place was very clean and nicely organized. Very spacious for a small upstairs apartment. Kitchen had every utensil you'd need, though note while you have a sink, counter, small range and a microwave there isn't an oven. Wi-fi worked great. The AC worked great, though if you want white noise (the walls are thin and you can easily hear outside passers by) you need to manually switch to the fan once it's cooled off. Bathroom was clean and fully stocked though note the house frame creates a low arced ceiling you have to work around. The spare room (I didn't have a 2nd guest and thus didn't need it) is hidden behind a door in the living room so be aware. Great, spacious apartment to stay in. A bit pricey (like most of Flagstaff lodging) but I'd certainly stay here again.

Great place, it was ok that sound traveled
The locale is prime. The place is clean, well stocked (even had a hair dryer!), and easy to find. As noted in the ad, the noise between the adjacent rooms does travel. So unless you require true silence, the place is awesome sauce. And the manager, Dan, is great. He’s been living in town for over 20 years and knows all the best places to visit and people to meet. Enjoy!
