Great stay
We stayed here to celebrate our wedding and everything was perfect. Majority of our wedding party and my immediate family was able to stay at the house and we had plenty of room and the amenities were great. We held our reception in the back yard and it was absolutely perfect I could not have asked for a better place to stay and to celebrate. The playground in the back yard was great as well

Perfect place for our family reunion
This property was in the ideal location for family members to explore Northern Arizona, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Bearizona, Etc. Ideal dinners together inside and outside on large tables. The owner always responded right away to any questions, the most responsive owner of any property I have rented. We will stay there again. Soon.

Flagstaff Family Trip
The house was great, beds were comfortable, family areas accommodated all and the neighborhood quiet and convenient to sooo much. We enjoyed the porch and the rocking chairs, especially in the evening with great star gazing in the dark. The kitchen was well stocked with everything so made it easy to cook and enjoy family interaction during meal prep. Picnic tables outside were a great hit with the kids to eat dinner. The location is very convenient to so much in the area, lots of nearby hiking and scenic drives, the Grand Canyon close either by car or the family highlight of the train from Williams. Sedona an easy, beautiful drive with lots to do and see on highway 89. Communication with host very easy although we didn’t need to contact her the whole trip.

Not exactly what we were thinking
The property did not have the bedrooms that were listed on the vrbo site and as we were really looking for the bedrooms to house the adults, we were disappointed by the arrangement. The host did say they would some in and move the bunk beds and replace them with a double bed, but we were not in the mood to have a bunch of moving as we just got in after a full day of driving. The electrical situation is also a little strange as the great room fan and light did not work, and as we thought it was just abattery problem, the host got a new battery, but it still did not work. There were some wires hanging out of an electrical box in the ceiling in the master bedroom and a smoke detector was missing in one of the bedrooms. The tv's did not have either cable or satellite or the youtube tv as advertised, but the host did give us access to their Hulu and Disney+. But that did not have any local channels or live tv, so we used one of our youtube tv accounts and also a Philo account of ours. The ac was good in some rooms and in others it was hot unless you froze out the other rooms. The host was as accommodating as possible, but the house really needs some up keep to bring it into full use.

My wife and I have stayed in numerous rental houses over the years, experiencing a mix of surprises—both good and bad. However, our recent stay at this incredible house in the pines for our family reunion exceeded all expectations. What truly stood out to us was the unparalleled hospitality of our host, Deanna. To say that she was accommodating would be an understatement. Deanna went above and beyond to ensure that our family reunion was nothing short of perfect. Deanna’s attention to detail and commitment to our comfort were exceptional. She checked in on us regularly via text, making sure every aspect of our stay was flawless. From providing extra chairs and gameboards to going out of her way to accommodate any of our needs, Deanna’s dedication to our experience was truly remarkable. The house Itself was a spacious and inviting space, ideal for gatherings of all sizes. With 14 people staying overnight and up to 50 guests during the day for our family reunion, the house never felt crowded. Its layout and amenities were perfect for hosting a large group, and Deanna’s thoughtful touches throughout the property added to the overall charm. I am in awe of what Deanna has created with this forest house, and I am already looking forward to future reunions and collaborations with her. If you are considering a rental for a special occasion or family gathering, look no further. Deanna’s care and dedication ensure that you will not be disappointed.

Great Family Home
This home is spacious and there was plenty of room inside and out for everyone to have fun. We had 3 families with children from ages 15 to 2 and everyone was comfortable. There was room in the kitchen area for many meal prep and cleanup helpers. The host was wonderful and thoughtful. She included many little extras to make the house feel like home. It is not a brand new house and, like any home, there are some quirks. It is located in a somewhat woodsy, outdoor area so there are some bugs and dust as is to be expected. However, the home has been taken care of and feels comfortable. It is a great place to spend time focusing on and enjoying the people you are with.

Great for everyone!
We went with a few families and had the best time! The kids enjoyed staying in the bunk beds and playing in the basement with all of the toys. The views bare beautiful, the house is big clean and private, the play ground was so much fun and the big porch was so nice. The spa is such a treat and the gas fireplace makes it extra cozy. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful! This was our second time staying and we are already planning our next trip!

Perfect Thanksgiving
We loved this lovely home. You could prepare meals in the more than ample kitchen -which being Thanksgiving, we did. At the same time we could share conversation with family sitting at the oversized dining table, and converse with those in the lovely "great" room. Tons of indoor games and toys for all the little's and a wonderful playground area. The hot tub is right off the house which was super convenient. Overall a perfect place for our large family. Already booked for next year. Thanks to all the Comish family for a great stay.

Great place for a big family.
We had a wonderful stay here with our adult children and grandkids. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated 7 adults and children ages 7, 5, and two 2-year olds. This was the best supplied rental we've every stayed at -- plenty of dishes, glasses, and utensils in the kitchen, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing and laundry soap, a good collection of spices -- you name it, it was there -- we didn't have to buy any additional household supplies all week. There's a lovely picnic table on the porch that was big enough to accommodate all of us, so we enjoyed bug-free dinners outside. Also a nice gas grill, plenty of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors, and plenty of parking space. The location is lovely. It's just outside the city on a big lot and felt very private. There's a Safeway a mile or two away. There are lovely running and walking paths at the end of the street, and from there we hiked to Picture Canyon, where you can see petroglyphs. The kids loved the playground in the back yard. It gave them something to do whenever they needed to burn off some energy. There's also a big cupboard full of games (mostly for kids) and a bookshelf full of kids books. Deanna was very accommodating and very helpful in making sure we had all the baby equipment we needed, and communication with her was excellent. This was a wonderful place for us to stay, and my only caution would be to make sure the bedroom layout works for your group. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, and three bathrooms. The second floor has two bedrooms, the space for the bunk beds (which is open to the living room), and one bathroom, which connects to one of the bedrooms. It worked for us to put one family on the second floor. In the basement, there are two beds in the open family room / play room, and there is a bathroom in the basement.

This is a wonderful house, the layout, space and size. It has some great features kitchen appliances, a lot of fun things for kids. BUT it is older without updates and not well maintained. The TV remotes would not work. (Not a battery problem) the Wi-Fi was horrible. As far as cleanliness goes I will say it was dusted fine but very dirty deep wise. Showers, walls, floors and especially carpet. The garbage compactor wreaked of fish. The smell filled the whole kitchen so we just stayed away from the kitchen as much as possible. Having said that we are pretty picky with cleanliness. The owners were VERY good to work with. They tried to resolve the problems but were not able to. Hopefully they can do some work on this property as it has great potential but until then we would not rent it again.

Amazing Retreat in Flagstaff
Wow!! What an amazing retreat this property is. Beautifully maintained. Soaring ceilings. A kid’s dream of a playground. Well stocked gourmet kitchen. And the best part? . . . The owners are so accommodating and responsive to all questions and requests. One of the very best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. Perfect for our family of 10. I was looking for a big home to accommodate 12 people in the Flagstaff area. We would be taking the train from Williams plus excursions to Sedona and Pink Jeep rides in the Grand Canyon. This home was perfect. It was exactly as advertised and more. Clean and well cared for. Wonderful kitchen and great appliances. Comfortable beds and soft bedding. Family Paradise
If you're traveling with children of all ages, this home is perfect for you!! Lots of toys, books, outdoor playground, and table space for projects, meals, etc!!! We appreciated the 3 levels of sleeping areas and various bathrooms, although only 1 bathroom is accessible to all; the other 4 bathrooms must be accessed through a sleeping area. The home does have a huge refrigerator and two additional mini refrigerators, although the two minis could not be used at the time of our stay. Also to note.... there really isn't any pantry space in the kitchen, but plenty of countertop area at the bar, the laundry, and the main level master! A special surprise were all the spices and extra essentials this home provides that you almost never get at a VRBO! Plenty of hand soap, dish soap, showering essentials, toilet paper and paper towels, as well as extra bath towels too!! We totally felt like it was our home away from home!! As a final footnote... you will be pleased with the hot water supply!! We had 15 people staying for a week and with all the baths and showers and dishes and laundry, no one ever ran into a shortage of hot water!! Amazing family time here!!

Beautiful home, lots of space
This is a beautiful home. The home was close to stores but had a feel of being far from the city. We even saw a gang of elk on the street, when we were coming back from a hike. We have a large family and there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together.

The place is fantastic and the owner could not have been more accommodating and available. She really went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. We had 2 families in the home and there was more than enough space. The kitchen is terrific and we cooked almost every night. It is a great location - very peaceful with easy access to lots of hikes and day trips.

A perfect family getaway!!
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway! The house is really beautiful, big, spacious, and quiet! There was lots of seating for meals, relaxing, playing board games, or just hangout out. It was so nice that we all had our own bathrooms and the downstairs den was amazing for the kids- they loved all of the toys! The playground was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The owner was so accommodating and always available to answer any questions we had. We have done this Flag trip every year for the last 4 years. We go with a couple of families with little kids and usually stay somewhere new but we are thinking of coming back again in the Summer because the house and accommodations were so great!!!

The location is perfect. 10 minutes from grocery store but the feel of being out in the wood. Great entertainment for every age group. Littles had playground and games of all sorts. Teens/dads had basement to play video games. Plenty of space for 3 families to spread out. Firepit for s'mores and large grill. Built in speakers that also play outside by grill and Jacuzzi! Fairly close to downtown, the mall and Snowbowl. Host was amazing easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Great experience and lovely home!
