"Gerl Hotel is a place not only to sleep while travelling but to spend time in the hotel as well. It has a great resturant and the breakfast was very tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Shame the main spa (which is spectacular) opens only at 11:00 and closes at 20:00. "

"This Hotel is wonderful from the views to the great staff and wonderful service and the rooms are very clean. It’s 20 mins away from Salzburg and 50mins away from Hallstatt so you can get to both and the restaurant was great definitely recommend this hotel."

"It is amazing. you feel like you were in a xvi or xvii century house just a few steps from am Austrian Castel, not huge though in the middle of a small lake. It is our 3ed stay at this hotel. With a bus stop a few steps away, to get Salzburg downtown in about 25-30 minutes."

"This was a great hotel to spend our 25th anniversary. The Spa treatments are heavenly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and the bathrooms were equiped with heated floors. We were there in December so that was nice. The hotel is outside of Salzburg and it is quiet and tranquil. Just what we were looking for. "

"A very nice Inn that is quiet and secluded with a great view and staff. The restaurant's meals were very good. Loved the breakfast and the lady who made sure you were welcomed and served. Nice hiking right outside the door and a dock to swim from. It's off the beaten path and incredibly pleasant."
