Lakefront Cabin, path to lake, private dock, fire pit! Near Lagrange and Auburn

The A-Frame on West Point Lake, newly renovated and charming ! This home has a unique cabin feel on the lake! It has a very large master suite with deck access. The upstairs loft bedroom has two full beds, a daybed and sliding door to small balcony. We have provided a fire pit area for fun in the fall and winter and a gas grill for outdoor cooking! Please note this is a non-smoking property.

Located on Stroud Creek, a very peaceful and serene area of West Point Lake! This retreat allows you to enjoy all the outdoor activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming! During winter months the lake is lowered for dock improvements! The water levels are lower but views are still great! The cabin is still a wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! We have a garage studio apartment available that can also be rented for additional $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. It has a kitchenette, closet, bathroom, sitting area and 2 queen beds. We have two single kayaks available to rent @ $100 for three days. WeeklyIf you book a week they are included for you to use at no charge . Pontoon boat available for rent, $200 for 8 hours or $500 for 3 days plus $75 fuel charge. Yamaha 60 hp Sweetwater, 10 person capacity. All safety requirements by DNR provided. Inspected and certified by Coast Guard. Please contact if interested! We will need to know prior to your stay if you would like to rent the boat. Private guided fishing trips available, please contact if interested.
There is a well stocked store about 2 miles down the road for anything you may have forgotten or ice for the cooler! We have 2 boat ramps within a couple miles (Dewberry and Rocky Point) and a private dock!
New Publix Grocery Shopping Center, Nail Salon, Chick fil a, Mexican Restaurant, Beverage Store, and other shops 10 minutes from cabin!

Only 15 mins to downtown Lagrange where you will find great restaurants and shopping!

I can't say there was anything we didn't like. We have stayed at this property before and the Hosts are great. They communicate more than efficiently is just been a great experience both times. We hope to have a 3rd time in the future.

We enjoyed rhe cozy A frame cabin. There was plenty of room for our family. The master suite was beautiful! Our children were able to fish right off the dock and caught multiple fish. We had a great visit.

This was our second stay at the A-frame and we still love it there. The home is so cozy and the lake is so relaxing, it’s one of our favorite places! If you get the chance to take the boat out, do it, it’s a beautiful lake!

Very well equipped lakehouse with a lot of charm. The serene location made for a great getaway. Only complaint was the spotty cell service even with WIFI access.

This was a great get-away for our family!
We were all able to unplug and spend time playing cards , games, fish, boat and swim on West Point Lake and spend quality time with family close by. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to get away for a while and relax! Great hosts!

Beautiful property and home
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the lake. Had all of the essentials we needed in the home and the dock on the lake was in a peaceful cove with deep water. Furniture in the home was comfortable and made relaxing easy when we weren’t fishing. Highly recommend this home!

Loved the cabin. Main bedroom was very spacious and the loft was adorable. The owners were very attentive and easy to work with. The best part was renting their boat and having it at our disposal in between raindrops!

We fished the SBC Tournament and caught lots of great fish. We raised almost $23,000 for the community. The A-Frame house was lovely and perfect for all 7 adults. We had an excellent time and can't wait until we are back again. Thank you so much!!

Nice, Quiet Getaway
Our stay was just what we wanted. The cabin was in a great location. It had everything we needed. I especially liked the deck and also the chairs that were set out down by the water. We didn't cook at the cabin as there were so many restaurants in LaGrange. We spoke to the owners a couple of times, and both were more than helpful. Thank you to them and VRBO for being easy to work with.

This place was amazing, it’s even more beautiful in real life everything was great. Except for cell phone service but Wi-Fi works well at the house even though it didn’t reach by the lake. Still it was a good time away from devices and just enjoying the outdoors. Great finishing spot. Definitely will book again.

Relaxation at its finest!
We had the most relaxing time on our trip. This summer was our second time staying. We plan on going back next summer as well. The neighbors are friendly. The lake is gorgeous and so peaceful. The boys had the best time fishing and swimming. The host is wonderful. The property is always clean and ready to go. It’s really is the perfect getaway.
