The outside of the hotel resembles a penitentiary, the maximum security kind (again, not as presented in photos). The center piece outside is a column of rusted gas or electric meters that frame the entrance to give you that charming feel of early 90s Beirut. The staff overall was marginally hospitable and did the bare minimum to make you feel welcome. I was given a handicapped room...
