"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Upon arrival, told a key and fob for alarm would be in key box, it wasn't. Opened door, alarm goes off. Having to stand there with all neighbours on street looking at us, trying to explain that im renting the property and don't know how to rurn alarm off, EMBARRASSING. Getting inside to find cob webs and spiders EVERYWHERE was not nice. Bunk bed is broken right on the middle so cannot be slept on. "Lovely twixmas weekend stay for 2 and a dog, great location, minutes away from the beach, pub a couple of minutes in the other direction. Cosy cottage with a fireplace (wood provided) well presented and lovely decor. One very minor point I didn’t like was the clear glass panel on the main door giving a view straight into the cottage, a curtain or frosting would give more privacy "
