"It was nice. Not really waterfront. Pool was nice on a hot day. FYI- Google maps took us to the wrong house. Glad the neighbor didn't mind us at the door at 10 p.m. Plenty of room for family gathering."

"What a delight to open the kitchen curtains and seeing the beautiful lake! Peaceful, refreshing, perfect way to start the holiday or any memory moment! This was our second stay at the house and it was better than the first! We hiked locally and enjoyed the events throughout the town. "

"Beautifully appointed home on a beautiful lake in Woodstock, CT. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting nearby orchards and hiking the many scenic trails nearby. Many great restaurants in the area as well. Although we did not partake, there is a great rail trail nearby for hiking, walking, etc. The home listing is very accurate, the kitchen is well equipped, and the cleanliness of the home is top notch. "I booked the wrong day, and the amazing staff fixed it for me so that there at 12:30am, I didn’t have to find another hotel. Amazing staff! I was so grateful. But regarding the Hilton: They charge $2 for bottles of water in the rooms! Like an old-time minibar. The rooms had a desk, but no Bible, no writing paper, no parking space at check-in, and parking only across the street. Otherwise the stay was fine."

Comfort Inn & Suites Sturbridge - Brimfield

"Our suite was clean with plenty of room. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, also clean. Breakfast was basic (note that its only available until 9am). The location is convenient to interstate access with a gas station, dunkin, cracker barrel and wendys all adjacent to the hotel and easy to walk to. We'll stay here again on our next trip to the area. "
