"The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station and the view down is idyllic itself looking towards the water. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful asked us if we would like to book our meal in the restaurant and although we were also told when breakfast was, I liked that everything you’d need to know was also on the key ring to your room. "The Glenisle Hotel is located in Lamlash with a stunning view across to the Holy Isle- from the top room. Central, and convenient for other eateries and bars, with a Co-op Market a short walk. Hotel was spotless and comfortable, with staff friendly and welcoming. Carpark was small, but enough space at front to park on road. "Food in the Orangery restaurant was great quality. Room was clean and comfortable but could maybe be doing with a little bit of renovation. Continental breakfast was of a good standard, cooked breakfast was varied with some items a little overcooked. Health suite facilities were of a good standard. Sauna and Steam room were of a decent size approx 8 people at a time in each. Changing rooms were a little tight if many people were in. Staff were pleasant, helpful and really great."

"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"I stayed in the Rosslea as I was attending a business meeting the next day. Firstly I was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so if you have mobility issues could be an issue. The room itself was adequate but would benefit from a revamp. The tv was ancient but perfectly useable. The bed was 2 pushed together so was a little strange when sleeping. The breakfast was really good and was included with the stay. Overall I had a pleasant stay."
