"This is a great place to stay for keen skiers who know each other well as the sleeping area is open plan. Great for a family or four very close friends. If you come in winter, you need a 4x4 to have independent access to the chalet. Ski in/ski out for good skiers. Well equipped and extremely charming. "We had a wonderful time in Beauchalet. It is a truly delightful chalet - full of character with wonderful views from every window. Bruno was very helpful and responsive when we were there. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the teenagers enjoyed stoking it up each evening. When the snow is sparse the chalet is not really easy to ski in and ski out, but it was only a short walk from the pistes. "Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). The views are great driving can be a bit challenging, climbing the mountain but we are happy that we had a car as this small town had only very few stores. The house is nice and clean but not big.
