"We totally enjoyed staying at Gary & Shirley's place. They were hospitable and the place was clean and beautiful right on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed walks on the beach, sitting around the fire at night, and driving to TC. Thank you for sharing this wonderful get-a-way place!"

"We love Harbor Lights! It’s right on Lake Michigan and within easy walking distance to all the cute shops and restaurants in downtown Frankfort. Great staff, beautiful grounds, easy check in. So glad we stayed here!"

"Our first entry into our room was not the best. It smelled strongly of pot. We told the desk clerk and she was aware and told us they had a little trouble from the couple who had stayed the night before. She immediately moved us to another room, which was also an upgrade. My only question was why they put us in that original room to begin with. They had numerous room openings. The room we were moved to was fine and we were appreciative for the upgrade in rooms."

"Good location. It is within walking distance to the Crystal lake, about 10 minutes to Crystal Mountain ski, and also close to various local restaurants. The room is very clean and comfortable for the price. Only thing is the complimentary breakfast, no food refill and also one bag of bread is old with some mold. "

"What a beautiful Victorian home. Very welcoming. Snacks and coffee were available downstairs. I was given a free upgrade to room #3 with a fantastic king bed and fireplace. There were great big towels, lots of hot water and great pillows. This property is in within walking distance of downtown right on the main street. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a really neat vintage Victorian home."

"As Michigan travellers, we have stayed in many hotels and motels. This was the best in a long time (very clean and loved the bed). It was a last minute trip for New Year's Eve and I was able to book a room in the evening that was immediately available for us settle into with 24-hour check-in. The remote keyless entry was wonderful, along with the included amenity room, which had extra towels, cups, plates, condiments, coffee/tea, pet supplies, and indoor/outdoor games. "I don't have enough good things to say about this property. Absolutely incredible. It exceeded every expectation we had. It was clean and had every amenity we could desire. The lake was awesome the deck was awesome the game room was awesome. I wish i could give it more than 5 stars. We will definitely be back next year at the same location. "
