"This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been to. The style is gorgeous. It’s spotless and the breakfast is phenomenal! Everything was perfect. "The location was great-we were able to start our hikes to the monasteries right from the hotel without dealing with parking nightmares. Check in was not done in person. You needed to follow instructions from the owner to put code in to get a key. Was a bit complicated especially since we arrived when it was getting dark. I prefer having an in person introduction to the room. The room was clean and the beds comfy but it was very dark. One of the lamps did not have a bulb in it. They took care of...

"Guesthouse Arsenis was amazing! I visited during the "off season", but the weather was still beautiful. The location could not have been better. It was a two minute drive into town and amazingly close to the monasteries. The view from my room and the dining area was gorgeous. Checking in was super simple and I had a chance to talk to the owner and his mother (who were both very, very kind!). The house and land have been in their family for generations and they have clearly taken very good care...

"The place isn't air-conditioned and no one speaks English (despite advertising otherwise, on both items). Complaints are ignored (e.g. problems with bathrooms WiFi). There are so many nice hotels in the village, go somewhere else. We actually had to leave after one night as it was unbearable."

"We had a fantastic stay at Epavlis Meteora Suites during our time in Greece! The owners, Spyros and Mary, were really friendly and made us feel at home, welcoming us with cherries from their tree. The property is really well kept with great views of the Meteora rocks on one side and Kalabaka/plain of Thessaly on the other. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was also great - homemade with local ingredients. Bear in mind that the hotel is located up a steep(ish) hill...
