All went very smoothly from last minute internet booking, friendly check-in, very comfortable and clean bed - even surprisingly quiet given the location close to a major road: certainly quieter than staying in the center of Figueres ...

Great place for overnight stay
We had one night only and staff were great, printing stuff for us and we had a dinner too. Not large but tasty and hot. Room was adequate size but clean and tidy.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Figueres
Excellent staff, clean spacious rooms. 24 hour service and food available 24 hours. Breakfast available (€6 ea) which is very basic but adequate. Macas very close by if that is your thing. Exploring the area by train (not the high speed) is both fast and cheap just need to get to the local station

Have stayed in several Sidorme Hotels. We originally located them because they were inserted in the rear of the brochure for B & B hotels, but this is no longer applicable,so Sidorme must issue a booklet showing all details of their current hotels otherwise they will only get clients who use the internet & not everyone does.

Very basic hotel with very friendly service! Located in an industrial neighbourhood, nothing interesting in walking distance, easy to reach by car.

Basic budget hotel
The hotel was cold. Stayed in January and there were only 2 cotton sheets to keep us warm. We had to put our coats over to sleep. Our room had scuff marks and foot prints on the walls. Chewing gum on the window sills, tooth paste from previous occupier on the taps. Smelled of smoke throughout. Situated on a retail park.

Perfect for what we needed
It's not a big room. It's not fancy. It's cheap and easy to get to. It's clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we needed when we needed it. If you want pampered go somewhere else. If you want a warm and comfortable bed to sleep in, this is your place.

Budget stop for a driving holiday
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size, modern and comfortable, although I had a few issues with the cleanliness of my room. Price was good. Location is a bit out of town but it was a good stop for us as we were just passing through on a driving holiday.

Good value
Good value for money hotel, with welcoming staff and continual coffee. Best if you have a car, because it is a some kms out of town, but the bus service is also good and very handy to the hotel.

Cheap but far away from city center
The hotel itself is kind of modern and clean. However, you need to have a car since it's far away from the city. You need to bring your own soap and toiletries or purchase them at the desk. Our shower head was broken but other from that the room was nice, modern looking, and it even had cable TV. If you're looking for a cheap night and have transportation available, this might be an option but the surroundings are pretty bad, with nothing around it but a furniture store and some other business in the same complex.

All alone but good for a night
This hotel is situated on a cul-de-sac alone. It is convenient to the highway and the theme park. Their address listed gives a corner that is a ways away from the hotel. The staff was VERY helpful and nice. Great breakfast for the price!!

Good hotel for those who drive only
The hotel is fabulous on its design and cleanliness. The only gripe is its location. It's located far (3km by motorway) from Figueres town centre and not a good choice for backpackers who don't drive at all as the suburb is served by an infrequent (30mins at least) public bus that operate only on weekdays and Saturday. We arrived on Sunday and found ourselves having to take the only other public bus that serves another suburb that is 2km further from Hotel Sidorme. We had to walk all the way from that bus stop back to the hotel and was totally exhausted (with the heavy backpacks) after. There wasn't even an option for taxis as there were none in sight for our entire visit to Figueres! Also, we were stranded there for the rest of the Sunday as the only other nearby establishment, Carrefour, across the motorway, was closed on Sundays. A good restaurant called "Cook's Room" is just beside the hotel which saved our lives for that Sunday night. Luckily the food quality was good as we had to go back there for dinner the next day as we had to catch the last bus from Figueres town back to the hotel by 8pm. Because of that, we missed the chance to try more gourmet food in the town centre recommended by many travellers. What a pity!

Not my kind of place
For one month we traveled and this hotel was not the least expensive but it was least comfortable. The room was tight, with one chair although the staff brought another there was hardlyroom to move around. There was only soap for the shower and they wanted one euro for a tiny pit of soap for our hands although, finally they gave us one bar. If youuse the soaking tub you can not reach the soap. What are they thinking? Wth WiFi is included but each day with the help of the staff we could not connect...for three days. The breakfast was just OK. They said there was soy milk but it was never available. You can walk to McDonalds...not my kind of hotel

Sidorme hotel in Figueres
We were driving through Spain and wanted to stop in Figueres to see the Dali Theatre Museum. The hotel is situated outside the town of Figueres, but if you have your own transportation, it's not too far. And there's free parking which is good. I guess you could also walk to town, it's something like 3 km away. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Everyone we met spoke good English and they were always checking if we had everything we needed. There's a lovely breakfast for a reasonable price. If you sign up for the Sidorme newsletter, you get a loyalty card that allows you to free coffee/tea/hot chocolate in any of their hotels any time of your stay. The free wifi worked well. We had a nice stay!
