Cottage easy access, very quiet and comfort.

Two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one exterior), a kitchen and a living room. With porch, wood stove and fireplace. Every room of the house with air conditioning. Free access to the animals of the property, are not aggressive (There are ducks, geese, sheep and two dogs). The animals are separated from the house but with free access.
The underside of the house passes the Alges river where you can bathe and fish. There are footpaths along the river.

Had a lovely time staying here only spoiled by the very awkward steps into the property which is supposed to wheelchair accessible other than that I can thoroughly recommend this beautiful “Quinta” for couples, families with children etc older relatives may struggle with acces also Internet isn’t always available but overall in a nice setting with lots of animals to keep you amused.

Esta casa tem todas as. Comodidades. Acima de tudo a casa e propriedades são belas, um pouco isolada, com acesso rustico, mas não impossivel. A 11 km encontra Figueiro dos Vinhos. É virar as costas ao urbanismo e entrar num sonho rustico de simplicidade e natureza. Olhar e ver apenas a serra. Descer e encontrar apenas a Ribeira. Recomendavel.

A casa é espetacular, muito comoda e confortável, bem decorada, os espaços exteriores estam muito bonitos e acolhedores. Foi uma surpresa muito boa, pois nas fotos não conseguimos ter a percepção de como a casa é espetacular. Adoramos os dias que passamos lá e a vista também é muito bonita.

Fim de semana excelente, num espaço magnífico
As instalações são magníficas e as fotos não fazem jus à realidade encontrada. Passamos um excelente fim-de-semana com ar puro na maior tranquilidade e longe do bulício da cidade. Os animais da quinta são muito dóceis e simpáticos! Vamos voltar certamente e recomendo vivamente a quem queira passar um bom fim-de-semana no campo mas com pormenores de requinte e bom gosto! Final de semana fantástico, num local fabuloso. Casa muito bem equipada com todo o requinte mas com a simplicidade e bom gosto do ambiente circundante. grand parc en pleine nature, baignades proches
Nous revenons de cette maison où nous avons passé 5 jours. Le premier abord, grand portail automatique et longue route d'accès privée menant à la maison, fut intimidante. Les explications en français parfait de Mme LIna nous ont permis de bien comprendre tous les recoins. Très vite nous avons "aprivoisé" la masion, ses chats, ses moutons, ses chiens et ses oies ! le grand terrain recele de nombreux coins secrets et au fond du jardin passe un chemin de randonnée menant à une riviere avec plein de coins de baignade. Ne ratez pas la baignade à Fragas de Sao Simeo et le village de schiste Casal de Sao Simeo ! C'est magnifique en aout.

Great property, nice area and lovely animals
The house is directly in the nature. It is in a valley, so you should have some driving skills, since the driveway is pretty steep. Around the house you will find your "garden". It is really big, so you will need about half an hour to walk around everything. There even is a little creek, so you can cool your feet. At the property there live a small cute and cosy cat, sheep and 2 big dogs (they are very nice and happy to have visitors). It is calming to have the dogs around, since in the night the place is a bit lonely. I was a bit afraid, since you would hear the neighbor dogs barking in the middle of the night and craking noises around the house. The house itself is seperated into several own little buildings. That is to say the kitchen is not directly in the house and the second bathroom neither. Every room has it's own key, so you will have to keep them with you all the time, since we were told we should always close the doors. There is a living rooms with sofa and tv. The kitchen is really well equipped and there even is a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen. The bathrooms as well as the bed rooms are very comfortable and stylish (the stone walls are adorable). The best part however is the balcony/terrace. There is a hammock and you have sun for the whole noon-afternoon. We could sit there for hours and watch the sun and the mountains. There is heating and air-conditioning inside the house. For leisure, there isn't much you can do in the area, if you are not interested in nature. There are only small villages around and it is pretty quiet. For nature people however this is the best place to be. There are plenty of hiking paths around. One can e.g. visit very nice waterfalls and walk by the river. We will definitely come back!

Sossego no meio da natureza
Casa sossegada com vista magnífica sobre o vale. Permite caminhadas a pé pelas redondezas. Excelentes banhos de sol nos pátios e varanda mesmo no inverno. A casa tem aquecimento nos quartos e sala e uma ótima lareira na cozinha. Churrasqueira no pátio também funcional. Tem todos os utensílios necessários para cozinhar, assim como roupa de cama e banho. Adorámos a estadia, se tivermos outra oportunidade regressaremos.
