"Lovely weekend stay. Its a lovely old building but very clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was good. Had a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable. It would have been useful to have a plug nearer a mirror for drying hair!"

"We arrived later than normal, but it was no trouble; we were shown to our room as though it was perfectly ordinary. Room was lovely - warm and spacious with a most comfortable bed. Everything you could wish for was supplied. Only possible downside was the rather transparent blinds and curtains - which could be a problem in the summer. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with a selection of cereals to start, all served by delightful and attentive staff. Thank you; we will be back!"

"This is actually one of the better places I have stayed in a long time! The room was modern and VERY well equipped! Even down to the last detail! GREAT shower which was nicely powerful. Yes when you travel often it is the small things that matter! The food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. I would definitely book here again! Can I also say that the staff an absolute assett to this place! They were ALL refreshingly polite, helpful and quick at serving considering it was busy for dinner."
