"Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"

"We loved our stay at Effect Lodge. Our room overlooked the back side of the property, including the pool. Great views and an open feel in our large room. The host was so gracious and helpful. She recommended public transportation for our visit to Old Lyon, and it worked out perfectly. She also provided direction in getting our laundry taken care of. In many ways, staying at Effect felt like being at home. Highly recommend this property!"

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, les prestations de la maison sont exemplaires, tout est nickel, propre, agréable. Les hotes sont réactifs, à l'écoute et nous ont laissé des petites attentions, ce qui est très appréciable. Nous n'avons pas visité les environs donc sur ce point on ne se prononce pas, nous étions là pour une manifestation spécifique."

"The Hotel for us was very good, good size room and facilities were adequate. I think the fridge should be defrosted more regularly as the ice build up is making it inefficient, consuming excess energy."
