"We arrived after reception closed and left early morning but staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone and left clear instructions on how to get in. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was also great! Lovely building and peaceful town, and we want to come back to explore the historical area. "

"This is one of the beautiful but homely ‘hotels’ I’ve ever stayed in. We booked 3 out of the 4 available rooms. All very spacious and comfortable. A super accessible room. Above the lounge there’s a netting area you can lie on! The owner is so lovely and helpful. She speaks brilliant English which was a bonus too. "

"Lovely French style B&B large bedroom, plenty of room for all the family stay. Cosy and warm. Very comfortable beds and black out shutters- ideal for a good night sleep. Breakfast had local French food, very tasty. Friendly owner and the a wealth of history in the building. The exterior does not look finished, but the interior was very nice cosy French style. A very enjoyable style . "

"We had a great stay in the property, 5 adults and 1 teen with 1 of the adults in a manual wheelchair. The property is accessible with good bedroom and bathroom support, plus a good size parking area. Close to the Somme and all the WW1 sights in the area. Our host was great in answering questions beforehand, welcoming us on arrival and being around if we needed him."

"Chambre d'hotes coquelicot is in a quiet area with little to no noise, and a good position for anyone who wants to visit the ww1 war graves, or if travelling through. The host, Manu, speaks good english and was very helpful and explained everything that we needed to know about the accommodation. "Nice welcome from owner, breakfast very good. Our room was spacious. 2 bed sheets were damp and the room was a little musty. Towels needed replacing urgently. We don't usually stay in B&B and felt we were imposing. House and grounds were lovely though. Good location to see the Somme"

"The family has been associated with the property for 3 generations, and it is a gorgeous chateau, in a small village within easy driving distance of Amiens. The setting and the room are gorgeous, and the host and hostess are warm and friendly. They gave us many recommendations about what to do in Amiens. "Acceuil chaleureux de notre hôte Alice, souriante et flexible (avons pu arriver plus tôt et repartir plus tard). Logement spacieux et agréable conforme à la description. Cuisine au top et bien équipée. Très grand terrain devant la terrasse adopté par notre westie. Le temps était maussade et frais aussi avons nous apprécié le chauffage mis avant notre arrivée. Nous y reviendrons."

Would definitely stay here again!

"This was the perfect stay for us on our way through to the Alps. We arrived quite late (midnight-ish) but there was a very friendly face available to greet us in the restaurant and show us to our room. Parking just outside the room was really helpful. The room had everything we needed for a family of 4. Comfortable large sofa bed and another big double. It was clean and the shower was great. I was a bit sceptical having read some of the reviews about it being tired and gaps in the curtains but I think it has either had a refurbishment since then or we were lucky with our room as we have no complaints at all. The windows had shutters so definitely no light coming through. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that but I would highly recommend staying here and we will be back when next passing through. "

"Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."
