"Lovely property with ocean views, just 45 minutes from downtown St. John’s. Property has an awesome fine dining restaurant, Forager, which prides itself on using locally foraged ingredients. Drinks and food were amazing. Staff were very friendly. Room was very comfortable, with high ceilings, great lighting, modern decor, comfortable bed and linens. Very cozy. Appreciated all the many local touches and attention to detail, including locally roasted coffee, beautiful mugs and dishes. A great weekend getaway!! "

"Phenomenal view, attractively and comfortably furnished, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Nicole, our host, was very responsive, answering any questions in a matter of minutes. We had everything we needed for a 6-night stay, including the use of the hot tub on the deck, a BIG plus at the end of a long day of hiking. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed four days in this comfortable home with the best beds and night’s sleeps. It turned out to be the perfect location for what we wanted to do. We did day trips and all not more than an hour away. We hiked several parts of the east coast trail, drove down to Ferryland, Mistaken Point and Cape Race then drove north to Bell Island for the best day. It was great to come home to this lovely home at the end of the day. "

"Fantastic location right on the ocean. Spectacular views! We saw Bluefin Tuna jumping in the bay just off the rocks. Nice cottage-like feel but with a fully upgraded and modern kitchen. Would book this place again for exploring St. John’s to Portuguese Cove"

"Fantastic location with great views and a walking loop on the door. Welcome and service provided by Paula & Pablo was superb. The evening meal was as good if not better than the Michelin starred restaurants we experienced. The breakfast is so good (and this is unheard of) my husband didn’t use ketchup!! Accommodation was delightful, very clean and spacious. Overall an excellent visit, thank you. "

"A great base camp from which to hike and explore Avalon Peninsula! Clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. WiFi was iffy but not surprising given the rural location. "

"This was a great place to stay! It is in a great location to day trip to most of the Avalon Peninsula including St. John’s. You are so close you could walk to 3 whale watching tours and for the adventurous it is a 4km walk to the Bay Bulls lighthouse on the East Coast Trail. The balcony looks out over Bay Bulls which was great for the never ending search for whales (bring binoculars). It was very clean, had everything we needed and was very quiet and private from the house. The hosts were quick to reply and were very friendly and helpful. "
