"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely setting. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. Bedding needs and towels were not provided as part of the rental and we had to pay an extra fee of 50 euro for sheets, pillow case and towels. We think this should be included in the description rather than provide this information shortly before rental date. Also given it was winter time and the radiator heat was not sufficient to keep us comfortable, we would have appreciated extra blankets. As such we...

"If you are looking for pure relaxation, this is the place to come! The site is beautiful with good facilities. The local town is charming with supermarkets nearby and a great selection of restaurants. There are some interesting places to visit within half an hour as well as about an hou's drive away. Great information on sights provided at the gite andthe hosts wete very responsive and hospitable - totally recommended!"

"We enjoyed our stay here! So much history with the house, and a very quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. After fighting through the crowds for the Normandy anniversary, it was nice to come back to our quiet corner of France. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful property and grounds with lots of sunny spots and shady spots. The pool was beautiful too. We did a couple of day trips out but mostly just chilled out and made use of the pool and table tennis. There was also a tennis court with basket ball hoop but we didn’t use it. Good local supermarkets and we tried the local pizzeria and bakeries - all excellent."

"This lovely property is off the beaten path just outside of the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne. The house is as it looks and has ample space for 12 people. "Nous avons été enchantés de notre mini-séjour dans ce joli cottage en pleine nature, très propre, spacieux, très bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la présence des deux salles de bains, des deux toilettes et des très grands lits L'environnement est magnifique avec une vue splendide sur les vallons normands. "Je moet beschikken over een rijbewijs want alles wat enigszins interessant is ligt op ca. 1 uur rijden vanaf deze locatie. Er is verder weinig te beleven. Verder is het een prima huisje maar met erg veel wespen omdat het vuil inleverpunt 50 meter bij het huis vandaan is. Voor ons was het dus niet hetgeen we ervan gehoopt hadden maar daar kan de verhuurder verder niets aan doen."
