"We liked that the hotel was close to Bellingham, yet not near the mall. I liked that it was a little further out but didn’t feel like a long drive. It was clean and felt more modern than the hotels closer to Western. We’d stay there again. We didn’t eat at the restaurants on property but when I checked in, the woman gave me a complete rundown of them and they sounded great!! The nonsmoking room had the slightest hint of a smokey hotel but not enough to bother us (and I’m very sensitive to smoke). The beds were very comfortable and I like when the shower is separate from the sink area. For Family Weekend, most of the hotels hiked up their prices, yet this place remained reasonable. "

"We love returning to Fairhaven and Bellingham. This was our first time to the Chrysalis Inn and Spa and it won’t be our last. From the moment we entered the Inn we were greeted and felt welcomed. We received an upgraded room and both thoroughly enjoyed their spa. One of the best we’ve experienced. When in the area this is a true gem."

"Very nice staff! Room was clean and the bed fairly comfortable. Downsides were the highway noise is loud (which ended up not keeping me awake so it was ok) and the sink is outside the bathroom. Bathroom is tiny. I still think it’s a great value for the price! "
