Beautiful location in the Crane Orchard area with so much to enjoy within a short drive. The property and house setting are sublime. We were delighted to be here for apple picking season. This is a "must stay" property.

This property is extremely nice, spacious, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The street is very quiet and the backyard backs up to Crane's, which is a plus. The owner was available to answer any questions I had, and promptly.

The property was beautiful! We all had fun, relaxed, picked peaches, celebrated 2 kids birthdays and our anniversary this weekend! This home was a wonderful home base for our wine tasting weekend. There are several wineries/breweries w/in a five minute drive. The views from the deck and patio area were amazing! The place was super clean and had everything we needed to prepare a big meal. The lakefront area was beautiful!

Great Property
We loved this house and property! It was spacious for our big group and the kids enjoyed having the basement as a play area. The outside area was beautiful and we able to enjoy a nice bonfire one night! The location was also convenient and close to restaurants and the cute shops of Saugatuck. Maria was also easy and timely with communications. I definitely recommend this stay to others!

We loved the check-in, so easy! The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our adult children thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. We took advantage of the fire pit and grilling out. Everything was in order and clean, Maria was great with communication and we all agreed we would love to come back next year, we had a wonderful stay!!

Birthday get away
The host was amazing. I rented the house for my wife's 40th birthday party. The house provided able stay for all the guests that came out of town and had a great dynamitic to keep the kids engaged and interacting together outside. In the evening once most everyone left, the views around the property were calming and relaxing.

Gorgeous home and setting
My multi generation family has been coming here for a few years and will return. Surrounded by Crane's orchards and Hutchins Lake, it's a peaceful, restorative place to vacation. The home is perfectly located close to vineyards, Virtue Cider, Evergreen Creamery, beaches, downtown Saugatuck and a grocery store is about 7 minutes away. Lots to do and relax at night with a Crane's pie and glass of wine. Plus Maria is a wonderful host and quickly responds to any questions.

Great Friendsgiving get-away
We had an excellent time during a Friendsgiving weekend. The kitchen fit our needs spectacularly, and there was plenty of space on the main floor and the basement for us to hang out and play games. I had a few questions about my bill and the host was phenomenal about communication and was very prompt in her response. Would definitely return!!

Family Christmas Time
We enjoyed our off season stay so very much! We have been to Cranes so many time as we live a half hour away, but got to see the orchards in a whole new way. We appreciated the amazing customer service at the bakery, enjoyed a trip to Virtue Cider, lots of walks, playing in the snow, great meals, and a visit to the Children's museum. Wonderful time for a family reunion
The house was clean and beautiful. We spent most of our time on the lake as we rented a pontoon. There is something to do for everyone. The basement with beds made it especially nice for the people who had children to spread out. The only issue was the basement was pretty cold so I would suggest bringing a space heater if you are using that area. It was nice to have access to the washer and dryer also. Be prepared to get your exercise as it is a nice walk up the hill to get to the house from the lake.

Annual family trip
The location was perfect with great scenery & several amenities for families who love the outdoors. Great setup for our 4 teenage boys in the lower level with enough Beds for all of them with their own private bathroom. Our only girl slept in the loft upstairs along with 2 bedrooms for the couples with a bathroom upstairs. Having the boats & dock for our own private use was a plus & we made good use of them. Our place was an easy drive to Saugatuck & several beaches. The Dunes ride in Saugatuck was fun & also a very nice mini golf place close by. Really enjoyed our stay here & we had perfect weather…no rain & highs in the 70’s. If you come in mid July be sure to go blueberry picking at Crane’s which is super close.

Lazy and wonderful lake living
Maria has a wonderful home and property. We had 2 families of 5 and it fit our needs perfectly. Was a hot few days, so the lake was wonderful to cool off, have fun, and relax at. My suggestion for visitors w/ young kids is to bring along some floats for the littles to use in the water, they were a game changer as our 7 and 8 year olds were a little put-off by some of the seaweed and minnows, they felt better floating. :) The kayaks and boat were wonderful to use and Maria has plenty of life jackets in all sizes. Really was just an absolutely perfect stay. Hoping to visit again soon.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
The home was wonderful for our group as we have 4 couples, and the house has 4 separate bedrooms with large beds for adults to sleep. There are 4 separate bathrooms, so we were each able to have our own space. This is a wonderful feature and hard to find in home rentals. The property is at the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooks the local orchard. We had a wonderful time just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. There is a gradual staircase down to the lake with a rowboat and kayak which we used. The owner had life jackets in the garage for us as well. The home was well stocked with any of the things we needed to use like pots, pans, dishes, towels, soaps, etc. The owner was very prompt and helpful with any of the questions we had prior to arriving. We would certainly stay again!

Vacation in a park!!
Our blended family (9 people) spent a long weekend here together. It was amazing! From the deck, you look out over the orchards and well manicured lawns. It felt like we were staying in a park. Having access to the kayaks, canoe, and row boat was very enjoyable. The house had everything we needed to cook and entertain. Having four bathrooms was definitely a plus! Another nice detail was the number of Purple Martin bird houses in proximity to the house. We enjoyed the outdoors with no trouble from mosquitoes or bugs. The property is within easy driving distance to Saugatuck and Holland. We finished our stay by having breakfast at the Cranes restaurant just up the road. It was absolutely fantastic. We all enjoyed the stay and left with wonderful memories. I highly recommend this property.

Luxurious Retreat Inspires All the Senses
Our family stayed at this wonderful home for a nice long weekend to enjoy the fall season and do some apple picking. The home exceeded all our expectations. Outside, the views of the orchard and lake are spectacular and serene. Inside, no detail was overlooked from the well stocked and extremely well appointed tableware, appliances and linens to the heated bathroom floors and comfortable furnishings. It is a great place for discerning guests that appreciate beauty, quality time and memorable moments.Very clean! The owners were very friendly. We appreciate them creating this wonderful space for others to enjoy. The apples were also the best we’ve ever tasted. Fennville is a convenient location and a short drive to many attractions that Southwest Michigan has to offer. "Salt of the Earth" is a must. I highly recommend this property.
