Located approximately 2 hours from Chicago this home is nestled on over an acre of wooded land with a 70 ft private beach, semi-private tennis courts. You'll find plenty to do in this classic Lake Michigan house. Enjoy waking up each morning to the smell of fresh air, green grass, crisp leaves and the lake: take a long walk on the beach, relax on the screened in porch, play a round of tennis or cool off in the water; your evening can be filled with BBQing , smores at the beach, star gazing and laughing with friends and family.

This home has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living space complete with gas fireplace, a dining room, multiple large picture windows, a large sun deck and a breezy screened-in porch which is a great spot to relax with shade and fresh air. Another great week!
This was our second year renting this home and it was another wonderful vacation. The house is always clean and ready to go. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The best part, according to my kids is the beach and yard. The screened in porch is also a very popular place to hang. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Fantastic spot on the lake
Everything was exactly as described in the listing. So very thankful, especially for our Grammy, to have access to a beautiful beach without a bunch of stairs. The yard was perfect for family games of softball, spud, catch, fires and smores. A word of warning about the beach… make sure you bring water shoes! There are lots of rocks in the water—large and small—that make the walk in a little bit painful! The screened in porch was the perfect place to relax at dusk to enjoy the sounds and scenes and family without worrying g about bugs getting you. And the view from the living room every morning was breathtaking. For us it was a dream fulfilled to be right on the lake like that. We already booked our stay for next summer and cannot wait

This is the one!
Our group of high school friends, all woman of a certain age ;), stayed at this home for three nights. Location is convenient to South Haven, Saugatuck, and Holland. Very quiet and private to return to in the evening after exploring. The sunset views were amazing. Private beach was amazing. Fire pit was amazing (wood provided). There is also a tennis court and ping pong table for guests use. House was well stocked and clean. Plenty of kitchen gear if you want to cook. Plenty of bath towels and washcloths provided. We may be making this an annual trip! Thanks for letting us visit your home. Forgot to mention the screened in porch and large deck with wonderful views of the lake! Five stars all around!

Gorgeous view & loved sound of waves. Family reunion with 8 adults in October. Plenty of room to spread out or gather with enough seating, large dining table and beds. Down bedroom is a little chilly but there were extra blankets. Kitchen stocked with dishes, pots, utensils to prep food. Outdoor firepit was a hit. Owner is communicative & prompt with responses. Fabulous beach getaway
We brought a group of 11 — 5 adults and 6 teenaged girls — and the house was absolutely fantastic for us. It's big and open enough to hold a large group without ever feeling crowded; we could all have dinner on the back deck together, but if you wanted a quiet spot to read in the morning, you could always find that too (the screened in porch is perfect for that). The bedroom situation is a little awkward with older kids but not a problem. The proximity to the beach is just unbeatable — rather than a set of stairs or a long walk down the sand and rocks, you just stroll down the lovely back lawn and right onto a massive private beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check in/out went smoothly and Chris responded quickly and helpfully to all of my questions. We feel lucky we found this house, and we'd love to come back. Hopefully next year!

What a gem property! Plenty of space for everyone - the deck and screened porch were especially popular. A huge grassy area with a large beach. Beach was very sandy; rocks in the lake of course but with water shoes, it wasn’t a problem. A very quiet neighborhood, neighbors were friendly. House was stocked with lots of things you may need. Owner was quick to respond to questions I had. All in all - a great space and a great week. Hope to return next year!

Access to beach and sunsets are incredible. Just a heads up that the double bunk room is on the lowest level by itself in case you were planning on having little kids down there. Wish there was an extra railing on the stairs going down because we were there worried about our kiddos getting out of bed in the night. There’s plenty of beds and rooms though! The owner and property manager were both very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Right on the beach with plenty of sandy beach. There was also a large stream on the beach that our youngest really enjoyed since it was calmer than the big lake. There are rocks in the water that hurt to walk on barefoot, so we brought water shoes and it worked out well. The house is nice. There’s one smart TV in the living room with internet that worked for streaming. There was also another TV in the master which had basic cable. There are plenty of tennis racquets and balls. There are also ping pong paddles and balls by the table…which is just outside the walkout basement. One thing we might have liked to know about ahead of time… The water at the house is very high in iron. So if you wash some light clothes they could get stained with rust stains. Dark clothes are fine though. So maybe bring dark clothes only if you are worried about this. Also, the dining room is great for board games but there were not many at the house. So if you are into that, I would bring games. Thank you, we had a great time!

Just steps away from beautiful Lake Michigan shore
The house had everything we needed for a family reunion of 8 adults. There are many separate areas in the house for activities as well as the wonderful deck for eating and lounging. The deck overlooks a massive back yard, with fire pit, that slopes to beautiful Lake Michigan. The home owner is wonderful to work with and answers questions promptly.
