"This was the cutest little cottage room! We spent 2 nights here while visiting Lunenburg. The cottage was newly updated and clean, complete with tv, microwave, bar fridge, dishes/cutlery, and table & chairs. It’s a bit removed from the town which is great for relaxing, but to visit town you need to drive. The only drawback is that the shower stall is very small, but that is totally expected for a tiny cottage room like this. We had a front porch and there is a shared fire pit area. The owner is friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend this charming spot."

"We stayed at Serenity Cottage for a week. The tiny house is not so tiny and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Sandy Bill are the ultimate hosts. The location is fantastic for day trips to Halifax, Annapolis Valley, Bay of Fundy and the many small villages along the Southern Shores of Nova Scotia. This vacation does deserve its exceptional rating. Thank you Sandy and Bill!"

"We had a very nice visit to the area thanks to Lilly the amazing young lady who works at the front desk of the hotel. She was a blast to deal with! She is sincere very funny and knowledgeable about the area. Her advice on where to visit or where to eat were spot on. We enjoyed our daily bantering back and forth. She was definitely a bright spot in our day!!! Well done Lilly, Robb, Val and Charlie."

"We had a delightful stay at the elegant Magnolia inn. Our hosts were fantastic with communication, suggestions and response to any requests. Breakfast was lovely in the historic dining room, complete with espresso machine, homemade croissants and muffins, and they even made a special effort to buy cream, in addition to milk and oat milk, when I inquired. The rooms were spotless, and they provide darling slippers and bath robes to wear. The amenities in the bathrooms smelled divine and there were little chocolates on the towels and flowers in the room. The hosts provided great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and even set the table with candles, placemats and dishes when we brought back take out. Note that some rooms have shared bathrooms when booking, but I would not hesitate to stay at the Magnolia Inn again and highly recommend this beautifully restored Victorian inn on charming Mahone bay. "

"This spot was so special! It was right in the busy stretch of restaurants, lounges and shopping so everything is within walking distance. Our room windows overlooked the wharf where the bluenose is docked. In the morning we got to see it pull away from our room. It sits above the cutest deli that has delicious food. "

"If you like going off the beaten path and taking the road less travelled…then this is absolutely the sanctuary you are looking for! A private cove with no neighbours to speak of this place is perfect to escape the frenetic pace of the world. It is perfectly situated to easily get to places like Halifax, Peggy’s cove, Lunenburg and mahone Bay. The house is well cared for and very clean, the kitchen is decently outfitted. The host met us promptly and gave us all kinds of tips for the area and showed us around. He was quick to answer text questions and super helpful. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!"

"We loved everything about this place. It is located in the heart of the harbour. Tim greeted us, even though we got in later than expected and made us feel right at home. Room was clean, had an amazing view and was a comfortable temperature upon arrival. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance which was awesome and we could see the Bluenose from our window. Picturesque. "
