Over all, I had an okay stay except
It was a little tiring to chat with the owner because he was too worried about low season biz. I was on holiday and I clearly told him that many times. I am a biz consultant and a simple "hello" can be good enough. There is not much to do here and that's why I was here to do nothing and relax.
Pros-Room was small but with a super clean big bathroom and a new AC. The friendly owner speaks German and English. 1 young helpful staff. Owner guides snorkeling with you for free.His brother also has a guesthouse next door and looked superb.
Cons-mosquitos in the dining area smoker friendly owner, Unstable and zero Internet access on checkout day, No TV, No soap in room, pricy food and water, no real restaurant in the island except 2 tea shops. Various taxes added on final bill(12 percent gvmt tax +3USD green tax per night per person 4 percent card, making it costlier.
Hard to find the owner around the house in the eve with no message -not professional at all. Stayed for 2 nights the owner kept complaing "short stay" Vey passive communication-No proper intro No guest book No tax info on menu etc Needs to be cheerful and resourceful Service too slow since his handyman was not around and he can't do anything that is electronic by himself.
Note-Don't pay the speedboat until you are in the right island. Fulidhoo is another island 20 min from Felidhoo and some farangs got off confused or scammed in the past.
