"This is a great place I'd bringing minimal luggage. Very difficult getting large luggage up the many stairs. As we were out and about the place was perfect with the three bedrooms. Rooms were very warm even after turning off heaters and opening windows. Be prepared if hot sleeper. Must bring someone tall along if using shower and putting on fan. But more explanation needed on how to use shower for those of us from the US. Host was very accommodating and helpful as we had separate arrivals...

"First, I have to say Michael was an excellent host. I got sick the first night there (obviously picked up in Dublin). Soon almost all of our party was down. Michael went above and beyond to help us, from offering to pick up grocery items, delivering wood and briquettes for the fire, and even bringing a pot of stew his mother made for us. "Our stay in Magherafelt was lovely in every way. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Our hosts, Siobhan and John, were simply wonderful. They greeted us, gave us a tour of the house, explained any thing we may have needed to know and answered all questions we had. "We had a brilliant few days here. Gorgeous house equipped with all the mod cons you could wish for - enough tvs and WiFi to keep teenagers happy - even an airfryer! The grounds were beautiful and our dog had a wonderful time exploring them. We enjoyed tennis and the lovely riverside walks a few minutes walk away. Quiet and peaceful but close to main towns.
