"We were very delighted with the Keystone Inn's history and antiquity. The breakfasts were outstanding. This is part of the BnB experience. We did NOT like the confusion between Expedia & Keystone pursuant to the exact room we were given notice by Expedia that we booked, only to arrive to find we were placed in another room without the amenities (fireplace) we wanted. This demands correction for us, as well as any future guests & stays."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. "The bed and breakfast offered comfortable surroundings where we took advantage of their outside deck to relax by their fireplace for a glass of wine before retiring. They provided a delicious breakfast every morning. Take advantage of the morning history lesson, we learned a good bit that was not communicated on the tour. The staff could not have been friendlier. Overall a great stay. "

"We stayed at the James Buchanan Hotel during a trip to whitetail for skiing and the hotel was my favorite part of the experience. It was cozy, clean, and they even upgraded our room. It was so much fun to go to the pub in the hotel. The manager of the pub was so attentive and polite and everyone made sure we had a great stay. I can’t say enough nice good things about this place and I hope we will go back someday soon!"

"The term "hotel" is a little misleading as it is more like an inn where there is no hotel staff onsite. An innkeeper greeted us to check us in and give us a tour of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also visited the onsite restaurant, which was lovely. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no real options for breakfast in town and no shopping or entertainment. If you stay here, be prepared for a quiet night in."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Stuart Manor. Gorgeous property, delicious breakfast and kind hosts. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms modernly updated. Great location not a far drive from what we were in town for, the Apple Festival. Would definitely recommend !"

"Enjoyed this stay right next to a beautiful trout stream with and Woods . We had everything we needed along with YouTube tv available to sign into. (Glad we started YouTube tv so it made it easy to have all our saved programs for this trip. Had a great time in Gettysburg ."

"Had a great time in the cozy cabin for new years. Too cold and rainy to do much outside but it was a perfect spot to get away from everything and turn the cell phones off for two days. Beautiful cabin and loved the fully equipped kitchen."

"The hotel was easy on and off the interstate highway. It was safe, quiet, and very clean. The associate at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The only complaint I have is that there wasn't a ton of parking and our parking spot was quite a ways away from the hotel entrance. I wouldn't have minded so much, but it was frigid outside."

"Most comfortable beds with actual blankets that we've stayed in in awhile. Room was set up odd..... sideways. But all in all clean and comfy room. Great hot shower and water pressure. Only complaint was tv. It was slow to work and small, at an odd angle to watch from bed. "
