"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"A fabulous, quirky house spread over many levels with all the mod cons ensured a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! We loved our stay and meeting our lovely, friendly and helpful host."

"The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. We reported it to Vrbo asking for a refund and no help was provided sadly so we lost £500 of accommodation fees and had a disrupted holiday having to...

"The property was stunning and exceed expectations from the listing. The location is quite and secluded but not to far from towns. The pool was beautiful to relax around. "Our family (10 of us) loved our stay. The house was really well equipped and such an interesting building. There were lots of places to sit and relax whilst the kids could play games or swim. The night skies are magic to gaze at from the terrace. Lots of historical places to visit too. "

"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."
