Perfect place to stay, as a good centre for exploring. The rooms were very clean, and had everything needed for a few days away. Meals at the Pub/Hotel were varied and delicious and reasonably priced.
A little awkward getting in and out of the bed as it was against a wall on one side, but overall it was manageable.
We stayed here for two nights while attending a service at the church.
The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble.
The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this.
Down to earth, friendly, helpful genuine people that work hard to make everything nice and relaxing.
This is a lovely well kept part of England, not a plastic, glass, concrete place.
We stayed 1 night at the Plume & Feathers. The room is a conversion and was lovely and clean. We received a very friendly welcome from the landlord & landlady and would definitely return for another visit.

Cosy hotel
Nice hotel , pity that there is no dinner because of missing a chef.Hope they find one soon.Very cosy 500year building.A big improvent would a large window in the roof or door.
The Plume of Feathers does supply sheets and towels. 😀
The evening bar meals were excellent as well as the full english breakfasts.
I personally don't like beds against the wall, but other than that we enjoyed our stay at the Plume of Feathers.
The Plume of Feathers is a very charming country pub in the beautiful upmarket village of Crondall. There are lots of pleasant walks from the door. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and car parking and access to the rooms was good. The dinner menu was quite limited and breakfast whilst nicely presented and tasty, was at extra costs. The three rooms are in a converted barn off the rear patio area, and are rather small. We were able to hear a lot of conversation from the next room, and also from the patio tables. No hair-drier was provided though we didn’t enquire as we had brought our own. We enjoyed our stay overall, and it served our purposes (we were attending a wedding nearby).
3 rooms in a converted garage or stable. Very small, bathroom facilities very cramped. The room smelt of air freshener to the point of giving me a headache. No windows, uncomfortable bed, intermittent internet, old and shabby.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Nothing to like particularly, certainly not unique.
Lack of information on meal times so were disappointed when required.
Lack of ventilation made for uncomfortable nights, it what seem like a garden shed.
A really lovely village and great B&B public house. The menu was varied and the food very nice indeed.
The rooms are small but more than ample.
I would heartily recommend. The only comment are the walls a tad thin in the bedrooms so the noisy bathroom fans can be a little annoying at night.
