"When you go out of town and stay in a home you just assume the property will be acceptable and pray that it is. Worry no more if choosing “The Duck” as we fondly call it! Beautiful property with classy interior and Hosts who made our trip easy. They responded quickly, answered all our questions and allowed us to have a worry free weekend. Inviting, comfortable and clean property. We will definitely “do again”! "

"The screened porch right on the water is the highlight - especially during the rainy day. We watched movies on the porch TV in the evenings after watching baseball and basketball throughout the day. This is not a big house, but the space works very well. All rooms are well laid out and well furnished - exactly as presented. This is our 4th place to stay on Lake d'Arbonne, and our favorite so far."

"This place was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The property was beautiful with everything you could want for a fishing cabin. There was plenty of fire wood, really plenty of everything. Every time we thought, “I wish I had brought…”, it was there. The minor complaints I have won’t stop me from coming back bc it was just that awesome! The owner was kind and eager to accommodate. He was a little hard to get in touch with but once I reached him, he took care of everything with a smile on his face and kind words! The only suggestion I have is that he hire a better cleaning crew. The house was not the cleanest but it was neat and well stocked, just needed a deep clean. Like I said, not bad enough to keep me from coming back! Based on the interaction with the owner, I bet he fixes that by the time you read this!!! "
