We traveled south for the solar eclipse.
The farm house was the perfect launch point and landing spot. The beds - so comfy. The land - so beautiful. The golf carts - so fun!
We hope to return with the rest of our family one day!
We had an amazing time! Loved every minute and can’t wait to book again for next year. The property was beautiful! Golf carts were so fun! Spent majority of time at the River which was an absolute blast! Completely off the grid - no internet, no phones, no tv, just us and it was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This was a wonderful place to unplug and unwind. So much to explore and golf carts make it easily accessible (just a short, bumpy golf cart drive anywhere on the 160 acres). We had a great time exploring the property. Only negatives were the shower head needs replaced (only hand held works). We also could have used a few extra blankets and a lock on the bathroom door would be nice.
Overall we loved our stay. The property is nothing short of spectacular. Several sand/rock bars, creeks, ponds, and the most beautiful stars.
This was a wonderful getaway for my family!! Four days of NO electronics, just family time and bonding was just perfect. The golf carts were awesome, so much fun to zip around in. The river access was nothing short of amazing. We caught (and released) minnows, crawdads, and tadpoles. My eight year old who usually only cares about Minecraft was so sad to leave. The nightly campfires and s’mores capped the end to perfect days. There were several nights we took the car out to the trail and parked in the field to look at all the stars. Make sure to bring bag chairs and bug spray! Highly recommended!
This is our second time staying at this cabin and we come back for the river alone! The trails, river access points, and golf carts are worth staying here and are absolutely beautiful. The cabin itself isn't much to write home about unfortunately though. The fridge takes forever to cool down (it was the same way 2 years ago), one of the faucets in the bathroom didn't work, the shower head had to be handheld only. You don't have internet or cell reception at the cabin - so plan for that too. (To me that's a benefit tho, unless you need to reach the host)
We had such a great time here! The property is amazing and owners were wonderful…even brought us a bottle of wine for a minor inconvenience. Only thing we weren’t aware of that there was no phone signal or internet but we didn’t mind.
We had a great relaxing weekend free of technology. The river access was beautiful. Everything was very clean and the screened in porch was great for evening dinner and card games. Perfect property for a family or two couples looking to get away and relax.
This is an older farm house! It was very comfortable, quiet, private and convient to the river. We enjoyed the fishing and the golf cart was very helpful accessing the river. We hope that when/if we get back to the area we can stay at the farm house again.
Our group of 6 adults had the best time! The three river accesses were amazing. Golf carts to get down to the river were perfect. Would definitely stay again!
We had great weather and the river was beautiful and easy to access-especially with golf carts provided. Kitchen was not fully stocked. We needed to make a trip to the store to get coffee cups and kitchen dish rag and towels, and dish soap. But, great experience overall. Screened in porch was also terrific.
We visited the farm with our family of 5 and another family of 3 and had the best time. We went on so many golf cart rides, sat in the river all day on Saturday, and the kids played outside all night. Make sure you look for the signs to access the river because we almost didn't see the 2nd and 3rd trail! We had so much fun and will hopefully be visiting again. I would definitely recommend the farm to anyone and everyone!
First impressions up to last impressions were amazing. My family and I loved every last minute of the piece and quiet. The farm had everything we could have needed. We got rained out half way through out weekend but that didn't prevent us from having a good time. Thank you and we WILL be back!!
We loved this property. Wonderful views from the house. Great river access. Nice Neighbors. Comfortable beds. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a vacation to relax and recharge.
We had a great time! The property was gorgeous - updated farm house on the river with a lake. What a bonus seeing cows in the late afternoon. We enjoyed conversation, s’mores & brown bears at the fire pit. Wonderful screened in porch to eat & play games. Property manager was very responsive. A future stay already discussed. 😁
