"Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely gentleman ! The hotel has lots of parking and is surrounded by incredible views. Our host chatted to us and gave us everything we needed and recommended some incredible things to do. Our room was very clean and comfy with a small balcony that was quiet and peaceful, the bathroom had a bath with shower attachment and everything you would need to have a comfortable stay ! "Nice spot for people why like to hike. Quite reroute. Near by village is 10 min by car. Only a few spots to eat. On breakfast only yogurt and cakes with coffee. Coffee is excellent, but it is Italy it suppose to be that way."

"The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful and very relaxed. I would recommend anyone goes to this hotel as the location is fabulous on the seafront. The rooms are not huge but it’s a great base to enjoy the sea views and pop over to beach. The best thing about this hotel is the staff of which for me is the most important thing. The owners made us feel really welcome and at home"

Popular and unmissable wakings are to the Rocca di Calascio and to the peak of Gran Sasso. From the Locanda the beautiful village of Santo Stefano is within walking distance and Calascio and Castel del Monte pretty villages are within short drive by car. Food at the Locanda restaurant is great, homemade pasta is highly recommended."

"We spent a week in early September (three friends) and couldn't ask for a more pictoresque and relaxing place. The house is spacious, clean, and refreshing in its simplicity. Great kitchen with a big common room, every bedroom with its own outside access and its own breezy bathroom. The veranda and the pool were all we needed during the day."
