He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. "I rarely leave reviews but this place really does get 5 stars for everything. Beautiful location, complete privacy, and all amenities you could need. We stayed in the safari tent which was well above our expectations. Great communication from the hosts too! "

"The cottage was one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The property is very clean, in terrific condition and very rustic. I highly recommend and congratulate the owner for their hard work on this. The only thing that people should be aware of is that the country road leading to the property is quite rough so careful driving around the potholes is required. However, this should not detract from people visiting this lovely cottage. "

"We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. "Lovely clean, warm room, hotel has a a great restaurant and some lovely fireside seating in lounge - we would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch at the restaurant! We experienced a little bit of noise on Saturday night due to the hotel’s proximity to the road and nearby pubs but it was lovely and quiet on the next night. Plenty of car park spaces to rear once you drive under the arch to the left of the property."

A Perfect Location

"We came to Shrewsbury to travel by train to Cardiff to go to see a rugby match. The Holiday Express was a perfect location. The staff were friendly, the bar and small restaurant were adequate - we had a light evening meal which was good. We stayed 2 nights, the room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely superb - the best we have had in any hotel. It was also very quiet and safe to leave our car. "
