"We loved this place. It's in a big old farmhouse and doesn't look like much from the front, but it is a hidden gem. Mike runs the hotel so well & is really helpful; they should change the name to Mike's Place. It's really clean, comfortable & has everything you need. There's a big kitchen with almost every appliance you could want. It's really quirky and cool. 30min from Bern. "Hotel owners were very courtious and breakfast served was excellent. But for my family who is not used to animals in the house, the dog and cat smell(which they have as pets as it is their home based b&b) was a bit irritating and my son and wife had sneezing due to it. So if you are allergic, be warned. Otherwise it is a very nice place with pleasing owners."

"This is a very nice apartment in a quiet building. Irma was a lovely and generous host. It was not clear from the listing that this was a shared apartment with the host, however I quickly felt at home and enjoyed my stay. Good for a couple or single traveller."

"very nice hotel, beautiful view on the Alps, very reasonable. The restaurant is closed on wednesday, so it is wise to call ahead to make sure the door is open for you in case you arrive at odd hours. We have to share bath room and shower, but it is very clean."
