Charming cottage near Lascaux

You can access it by a very large flowery courtyard on the west side. On the east side, a beautiful terrace offers a splendid view of the valley
The three-room gîte is 62 m2. There is every comfort: open kitchen with living room and wifi. there are two bedrooms (12 and 19 m2)
All the rooms have a double exposure: courtyard and valley.
It is very bright and has a lot of charm. Calm and poetry guaranteed!

There are many walks to do on foot or by mountain bike from the house. Good walkers can go swimming in Saint Léon sur Vézère by the GR 36.
The village nestled in the hills is magnificent, located near Lascaux, Sarlat, and many other prestigious sites.

The cottage is on one level. All interior and exterior doors are 90 cm wide, there are no steps and the bathroom is PMR standard. the cottage can therefore be suitable for a disabled person.

Überraschung
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und waren überrascht bzgl der schönen geschmackvollen Unterkunft, ebenso in Bezug auf den wunderbaren Blick von der Terrasse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehme, freundliche Menschen. Wir wurden in die Ateliers geführt und durften uns die Arbeiten ansehen. Ein wunderbarer Ort um sich zu erholen und die gegend zu erkunden. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Calme, sérénité, ressourcement, panorama époustouflant
Le village de Fanlac, moins de 150 âmes, est un bijou périgourdin caché au milieu de la forêt de Barade. Les maisons aux pierres blondes typiques du Périgord noir et les toitures de lauze, les ruelles étroites, et le sentiment que l'Histoire nous chuchote à l'oreille, en font un lieu magique. Le gîte de Karo et Piot épouse magnifiquement l'enchantement du village. Le confort et la décoration raffinée des lieux ne peuvent que forcer l'admiration, d'autant que la vue du balcon arrière nous époustoufle par sa magnificence. Petit conseil : s'allonger sur le transat et regarder les étoiles, et les étoiles filantes, quand le temps le permet. Sans la pollution lumineuse de nos villes, l'effet est garanti. A l'intérieur du gîte, la cuisine est spacieuse, la salle principale conviviale. Vous ne trouverez pas de télé : la wifi peut aider les plus addicts à la technologie mais une cure d'écran s'impose par la sérénité des lieux. Les lits sont confortables, les murs épais, et par grande chaleur (canicule de cette année), il suffit de jongler avec les persiennes et les rideaux occultants pour conserver la fraîcheur salvatrice. Vous verrez les 2 poules gambader, Syrius le caniche venir vous saluer, et l'un des 2 chats venir miauler le temps d'une caresse. Seul bémol pour les citadins retords : les insectes volants et les araignées se font malin plaisir à rentrer dans les lieux. Mais que serait une maison en pleine campagne sans ses petits habitants de la nature ? Piot et Karine, hôtes charmants et discrets, sont des artisans : ils sont potiers / céramistes. Ils peuvent même partager leur atelier le temps d'un stage apaisant. Ils possèdent aussi une petite boutique où leurs magnifiques œuvres vous tendent les bras. Bref, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, une véritable pause dans nos vies trop trépidantes...
