"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"We spent two nights in August at this villa and would have liked to stay longer. It's well equipped and very comfortable, and although there were only three of us there is plenty of room for six people. The villa is about a 20 mins walk to the beach if you don't want to drive. Lucilia, our host was there at the same time and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for your hospitality - the confiture was delicious!"

"11 of us stayed as two families, with kids ranging between 13 and 7. We were so impressed with the sheer size of the property and the grounds. It was so spacious and immaculate. "We all had an enjoyable stay, the house was spacious, well equipped and in a quiet residential area with few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The pool and garden were great for the kids and the metro nearby was handy for trips into Porto. Maria was a great host and very communicative, regarding any questions we had."

"The villa was very well planned, the bedrooms and the living room were separated, the living room voices did not come into the bedrooms, all bedrooms had their own bathrooms and there was also a shared toilet, the pool was warm, but the weather was bad, restaurants nearby, grocery stores a short drive away, everything was great except the weather :), Thank You Gilles and Joelle!"

"Beautiful apartment, though some issues with check-in as we arrived late and found the apartment, but check-in place is 2 blocks away. There have been some similar reviews indicating check-in confusion, but we still fell into the same hole. I believe the real issue is the apartment still use the old style locks, both for the main door and apartment door. So so they have to hand in the keys to you, and that’s why they offer 24 hour check-in. If they can modernize the locks with the digital ones,...
