"A perfectly maintained and charming hotel with genuinely friendly staff, a good breakfast, and excellent location just blocks from Mirabel Gardens and the Old City. The hotel suffers from one defect only, but it was a big one for me: the bar next door. This is the only reason I have not otherwise awarded 5 stars here. The bar is unbelievably loud and raucous, with screaming, yelling drunks pouring out into the streets until well after 3 AM. If you are any kind of a light sleeper, you will not...

It was good to be able to come back after a busy day and get a cup of coffee or a drink in the little dining room whenever you felt like it. "The property was excellent and the staff was wonderful! The area is a very small village but its very walkable, and has a quaint vibe about it. The staff was excellent, and though I didnt speak a great deal of German, and they didnt speak a great deal of english, they were very friendly, and even one very nice lady in the mornings was able to teach me some.German. This is a very nice place for a relaxing experience that near a large town, but still out of the way. "

"Our stay at Villa Alma was remarkable. Sophia was an absolute treasure as the manager of the property. She was there for check in and a tour of the facility, and became our friend during out stay. The entire staff was amazing, helpful, courteous and kind. The food was amazing for breakfast and if we need some food at other times. The access to the lake, and all of the facilities were perfect. Best stay we could have imagined. We would come back again without question."

"Loved the location and amenities of this apartment! Had some difficulty with the on-site check in because there isn’t a real person to check in. It worked out for us, but not for another couple we tried to help. Was so happy to be out of the hustle and bustle of Hallstatt!! Walking distance to bakery, a wonderful pizzeria with the cutest owner, restaurants and grocery. Really loved being able to do laundry as well. Highly recommend!!"

"Perfect hotel for our family if four. Room was spacious and loved the kitchenette. Daily breakfast room was lovely and tons of quality choices. The scrambled eggs were amazing. There was a little path to walk down to the pedestrian district in town. It was a short and peaceful little walk to dinner. I think it’s been newly renovated as everything seems new and in great condition "
